Ninth Light
[In the wake of the most recent mission, you'll find a disheartening sight if you enter the hangar. The HK-1138' Corona lies in a crumpled, ruined heap off in a side designated for unsalvagable wrecks, the entire machine nearly split in twain height-wise, a huge chunk of it just fucking gone. Those parts from before? Yeah, phoney. All of them. Danconias-Phillips imitation parts and completely incompatible. You didn't actually think they'd HELP Julia, did you?]
Come on... move... move!
[And elsewhere in the hangar, Julia has been trying as hard as she can to use other machines. Knightmare Frames. Mobile Suits. Everything and anything that currently isn't claimed by someone else just so no stone was unturned. But it's all for naught. Her hands fly wildly and clumsily at the controls. It takes all of her willpower and focus to just a machine to stumble awkwardly forward, and all too often her machine stumbles and falls. And finally after one failure too many...
[Well, everyone has a breaking point and Julia's just hit hers.]
I can't...
I can't pilot anymore...

But what difference does it make? The result would be the same even had I died; my days of playing soldier have ended.

[Clang! Alessandra drops her armor, so she has free hands to hug Julia with.]
Even if your loyal Corona has left this world, we may still find something to replace it. Even Memento Mori... its control system allows everyone able to stand on their own feet to transfer the movements to the mechanism itself. I am sure there is more machines that work on this principle!

[A twinge of hope seems to grow in Julia's voice, but then she resolutely shakes her head again. No, she doesn't want to believe in something only to be knocked down again.]
I... I couldn't.
I'm a boxer, I'd misuse your machine; ruin its hands!

Human beings are not defined by tools they use. It is in fact the complete opposite! And I believe the same principle applies to Irgelions just as well.

[Being so mopey was exhausting, truth be told, and as much as she didn't want to believe what Alessandra was saying she had a point. If she could train her body to fight with then maybe...]
I...
Where would we even find a machine like that?

Or we may ask sir Schwarz Bruder if I manage to locate him.
