What: Interrogation and medical stuff
When: Immediately following the mission "Light, Stars, Spirit and Snow"

Ayame had done what she could for the unconscious man. The boy had remained silent as he was taken to the medical bay with his unconscious ally where he was locked up under guard. It had required some... technological additions to keep the man alive, but he was alive and waking up, which meant the interrogation could commence.

Rather than moving the injured man, Ayame had the guards bring the boy into the room. She was certain she could keep control of things, especially with Josh's aid. Still, discretion was the better part of valor and Ayame was far from valorous so she had the boy strapped to a bed before she sent the guards away. She didn't particularly like this sort of thing, but someone had to do it.

She had one more thing to do before she started, "Werter, we are about to interrogate the prisoners. If you would like to be present, report to the medical bay, room M07 please."

Tell me about Baphomet, Flynn. What does he stand for, apart from being a nature god? Is he real? Or is there a possibility that Conor just made him up? I bet you believe in him no matter if there's some proof or not, so try to give proof to a non-believer that he exists.

Baphomet exists. It's he who blessed us so we can communicate with the natural world and thus live in harmony with it. We can direct and rely on Elementals, that should be proof enough.

So Baphomet's how you do things... meaning you're pretty much reliant on him for everything, huh?

So tell me this: would you have anywhere near as much animosity against technology if Baphomet didn't say you should?

I don't know, maybe not.

I only know what the Acolytes tell me, but I don't just take Baphomet at his word. He is very powerful and strong and not to be trifled with, but what he says also makes sense.

Technology has destroyed much, both in it's development and execution. Beyond destruction, it has also tainted a lot as well, poisoned things, including humans. It could destroy all life on the planet if left unchecked.

It can destroy, but it can also create and protect. Quite similar to the natural world you worship, don't you think?

One last question from me. Conor called Prometheus an enemy of the world, and said I'm assimilated by him. Do you know what he meant by that?

I don't know. I have heard him call pieces of technology enemies of the world before, but I have never heard him say someone was assimilated by one before.

[Flynn looks down.]

[And with that Josh begins undoing Flynn's bindings before looking over at Werter.]

I'll be taking him down to the brig.
