And while the rest of the Chalice celebrates in loud parties, in the Arboretum, Samus sits, crosslegged and with closed eyes, under the biggest tree. As she usually does, in fact - people may have already started to grow accustomed to seeing her there, really. One wonders when the hell this woman sleeps, given the amount of time she spends there.

She's not really one for parties, and she doesn't really understand this Christmas business (being raised by aliens from another dimension will do that). It seems to be some kind of thanks festival, but the details of it elude the mind of someone operating on Chozo logic, for now.

And so, she never saw a particular reason to participate in any of the festivities. She intends to simply spend the day with her thoughts. Much to think about, after all.

(I figured there would be people that preferred to chat a bit with the weirdo in the Arboretum, or variously chill out around, rather than go to the parties. Hence, here we are!)

[Samus looks at the small robot. She was unaware there were any more robots like Prometheus in the ship. This one seems more sedate than the other little hellion, though]

And who are you?

He offers his hand to shake for an introduction.

...which is pretty useless since he can't even voice his name.

[Samus takes his hand and shakes, entirely nonplussed. She's seen far weirder things]

I presume you are related in some way to Prometheus?

He nods and then raise his shoulders and his hand before shaking his head.

Epimetheus nods, before pulling a cup of hot water from somewhere and sipping it classily, complete with extruded pinky finger.

He realizes something, and then offers a cup of hot water to samus as well.

[She takes a small sip. In a much less deliberately classy way, but Samus just looks kind of majestic in all circumstances, so it works nonetheless]
