Reminiscence
[Once again the stray boy was out on the deck staring out at the ocean, despite coming somewhat clean he was still hiding several things. He didn't know the reason why he was continuing to do so. Ever since he had come back from his Gramps' other lab one name in particular was bothering him.]

Politics are something that I have long had little understanding of. It was why I remained on the front lines while the rest of my family went back and forth from the state to the battlefield. I do not think I am really able to say much about their actions if I do not truly understand them as much. Perhaps if they posed an immense threat to all of us...but otherwise.

Even so a soldier shouldn't be unaware that there's something wrong with what the group he works with even if he doesn't understand them.
[Surprisingly despite his age and general immaturity Ichitaka understands the politics involved quite well.]
We should be as much about fighting the bad guys as keeping us all of our forces from working with the wrong people.
