Journal & Action

-1 : Journal-

You know, I'm a little shocked. I know I'm a cold-yet-spicy, and I know my breath smells like alcohol and cigarettes, but here we are at a theme park, the perfect place for a date, and I've been going around it all my lonesome.

Come now, ladies, gentlemen. In this age, when's the next time you'll get to go on a theme park date?

-2 : Action-

[On a prior night, Loraine is in a tacky aquarium themed bar in Fairy Park, colors of blue and purple luvdiscs everywhere. A mermaid costumed beauty sits halfway out of a tank, mixing drinks. She's drinking some kind of red, blended drink. She seems ... thoughtful. Perhaps the liquor has put a downer on her mood tonight.]

This place is tacky as all get out, but... no one here seems to much for want.

[She stares over at a grand piano, which she considers desecrated by all of the decorations, making it look like a giant clam with black and white musical teeth.]

... I wonder if they need a pianist.

Well, we've been talking for a while and I gave so many answers that I had to stumble upon the correct one sooner or later by laws of probability alone, right?

[Werter notices he's not cleaning Loraine's clothes anymore and just resting his hand on her chest. He quickly takes it away.]

Err...
saikyocivrobo: (tired of it all)

Funny how one can fight monsters routinely and still feel awkward in such situations... It's like a high school show about teenage superheroes, only it's been a while since I attended high school.
saikyocivrobo: (didn't see that coming)

Really? That's a surprise. I mean, most people don't get much formal education these days for obvious reasons, but they don't tend to be good doctors or pianists. Or both at once.

Continuing the family tradition, huh? Can't say I'm doing the same myself. Neither of my parents is a chemist or, shockingly enough, a super robot pilot.

Well, interests are interests because they're fun, not because they're profitable. If you turn your hobby into a job, it might turn out you don't enjoy it as much as you used to, because of overexposure. So it might be a good idea to keep them separate.

Wait a second, gardening? Are you growing your own tobacco?

That's an amusing coincidence. I'm trying to start a project related to hydroponics as well.

Tsukasa wants to start grow vegetables for his kitchen. I'm providing him with technical expertise and tiny robot workforce.

If everything goes well then I'll say the message not with words, but fresh food.
