[So.  Back in Gucun once more... and with one last battle to fight and comparatively little to do until it except wait and help everyone else move out.  But Julia's still taken the time to go and visit what's... left of a nearby local: the smoldering crater where Herrera Futuristics' Earthside HQ used to be.]

... I knew the Inspectors hit this area pretty hard too.  I just didn't think... exactly here...

[The place where Bertrand died almost two whole years ago on that terrible painful day for so many people, Cheng included.]

... One more battle for this soldier to fight, Mr. Herrera.  One more battle to protect our dream.

Herrera was in the business of making weapons, and it's not like this place had very good security considering everything.

I don't know. but to reduce it to a crater after everything that happened. It feels...unfair.

... But its destruction's news to me... so I'm guessing the death toll was a lot less than it would've been if the nuke went off that one day.

Did I ever thank you for that? I know... I wasn't in the best state of mind after that... and you were the real hero out there that day. I mean, I could barely even make the new Corona move.

You know that you don't need to thank me. I was just doing what I had to.

Throwing myself into dangerous situations recklessly is a habit I picked up after being on the Chalice for so long.

Fortunately an ability like the Laplace Wall helps you get away with that too.

I'm pretty lucky that Yuu and Gramps built a machine that fit me.

That's just one sign that they're the best kind of people in the world.

It is hard to believe that this much time has passed.

Especially for Gucun...

I don't think I'd be able to do what you and Devon did while you Gucun was sealed away... just focus on rebuilding and not crack from the strain of being unable to see anyone... even contact anyone.

I would like to believe otherwise. Were it simply just the task of rebuilding to focus on, Devon and I would not have been able to bear the weight.

Rather... something equally as important and precious kept us on task.

Building a future for those that come after you.

And here's hoping future generations, for Gucun and everyone in general, will have a safer, bigger world to experience.

Irgelions, Cosmic Ark, De Metrio, La Garite, the Zuvorg... even in spite of everything with the last group...

We've managed to build bonds with all of them.

It's as if the world was set on destroying every single part of Herrera's legacy...

But it still lives despite that on, Reilev.

Of course it does...

Mr. Herrera... he took it as far as he could. But his wife, everyone working under him... we all made sure to keep it alive. And even if we do have ancestors who traveled to the stars before, humanity nowadays hadn't been able to do much of that.

It's a multi-generational dream. No past events managed to destroy it, no matter how much they tried... And Primeval Force won't be any different.
