Hunter's Day At Work
1 (Backdated a bit to a few days ago)
[For the last few days, Samus has been absent from the Chalice. She said nothing of the fact she was going, nor to where. But the news come in soon. Several of the tin-pot dictatorships and bandit micro-empires that sadly pepper the Asian landscape in the post-Impact era have been losing their raiding parties without so much as a trace of who did it, and the airwaves are starting to talk about some orange demon of the wastes that eats mobile suits whole.
When your patrol happens to pass by a settlement, though, what you see is not some horrible creature. It's thankful villagers, and a recognizable orange-clad hunter walking away from wreckage. Wanna say hi?]

[A question that might pop up, though, is... while Samus is "working", where's her pet? Well, when you go to your mech for whatever reason, you'll find out precisely where. The thing is sleeping curled up in the cockpit like a cat (though, given the size, a tiger might be a more appropriate comparison), completely blocking it off. It gives off a strange, continuous buzzing sound - apparently metroids snore, sort of. And it doesn't particularly seem to be wanting to wake up and move.
What do?]

[So, after a couple weeks absence, Samus returns to the Chalice, her helmet ship entering the hangar with no fanfare, and the hunter just going for a shower and then back to the Arboretum. Where she proceeds to cap off a week straight of walking the desert and shattering bandits by... gardening. Yes, really. She just goes on a tree and begins trimming calmly, like she just went away for a few hours to get groceries
But if you want to talk to her for any reason (be it to ask where the hell she's been or simply because there's something you want to tell her), this is probably the best chance. She seems in rather a good mood]
