Got Some Catching Up To Do
[The new book-loli is having a great time on the Chalice, and has found herself a small corner of the common areas in which to watch some movies.
All the movies, in fact-she'll be sitting in the same place, unmoving, for more than a day as she works her way through the history of film around the world, the lights of the widescreen TV she commandeered flickering long into the night. And, in a completely coincidental and no way related chain of events, anyone who's got a movie collection will have found it raided and stolen! Oh no! Who could possibly do such a thing?
Certainly not Eibon, who just sits in her little bean bag chair and watches movies, a neatly organized stack of DVDs growing around her with time.]

GET HER!
[And from out of nowhere Kurou pounces on Eibon!]
I KNOW
[Al as well]
no subject
[Eibon is successfully dogpiled!]
Unhand me!
no subject
Not until I give you a piece of my mind!
[Of course Al now takes the time to tie up her "older sister" with Atlach Nacha. Some magical barriers are also put up to prevent her from page storming away.]
There now we can have a nice chat together.
[She also turns off the TV.]
no subject
[The TV goes off.]
Hey, I was watching that...
no subject
[Al points at Kurou.]
You be quiet, and you!
[She points at Eibon]
First of all you're two and a half million years old and a grimoire. You are neither defenseless or a girl. Second, you've spent 80 years sleeping and the first thing you do when you wake up is laze around and watch movies!?
no subject
[Roads chooses that moment to walk in, and find Kurou tied to a small girl.]
Hey, guys, did you find...
[He stares.]
...Should I come back later?
no subject
[Then he notices Roads.]
THIS ISN'T WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!
[Al begins to chuckle]
Ha...hahahahahaha Ei, that pervert there already has a pact with me!
no subject
Kouzou told me I was to form a contract with a sorceror, one who would be present at my awakening. If not this man, then...
[Her eyes fall on Roads.]
...It's not nice to lie to an old lady, Al.
no subject
Hehehe I'm not lying, look at his hands. It will make it pretty clear that he's my property.
[Al rearranges the strings of Atlach Nacha so that Eibon could get a better look.]
no subject
...So he is. But then that must mean...
[All eyes fall on Roads.]
...What?
This is...Some sort of joke, correct?
no subject
[Al has the largest shit eating grin on her face]
Nope, this is the man that Kouzou entrusted you to. His name is Roads.
no subject
Is that so...
[Eibon takes her time examining Roads, before coming to her decision.]
I refuse.
no subject
Come on, sure he's shaggy, weak with magic, crazy, and somewhat mentally unstable. But he is the one that Kouzou chose for you.
no subject
Then Kouzou chose wrong. I'm not just a tool to be thrown around to whatever stray dog comes by, I'm one of the most powerful weapons in existence. And I will not form a contract with someone I do not deem worthy of my power.
no subject
Well in that case, he just needs needs to prove himself worthy.
[She's ignoring the comments from Roads.]
no subject
no subject
This coming from the person easily impressed by a simple hologram.
[She dispels the web on the two.]
Just give him a chance. Despite all his weaknesses, he's been able to accomplish a lot.
no subject
...Fine.
[Eibon goes back to watching movies, and Roads lurks on away, muttering about shagginess.]
no subject
[Al shoos Kurou off to get some quality book to book time with her "sister".]
I didn't think that you'd be such a stubborn old woman after waking up.
[Al plops herself onto another beanbag chair.]
It's not like we haven't had worse Masters.
no subject
no subject
In this case both.
You've done much worse, so have I.
[Al closes her eyes for a moment, lost in her own memories.]
You lost your Deus Machina as well. I don't think we're allowed to be picky in that situation. I wasn't.
no subject
...Are you alright?
no subject
Hm I'm pretty sure I am. Does something seem wrong?
no subject
You're more emotional. Eighty years ago, you would have answered that with a simple "Yes."
no subject
I-I'm not more emotional!
[She says with as much emotion as possible.]
no subject
Just...be careful.
no subject
I know...
[Memories of Azrad surfaced.]
...this is the first time I've had a Master that I wouldn't doom to an early death. And...
[Al stops herself.]
No, saying anything else will make things worse.
1/2
2/2
...When the time comes, talk to me. I was alone the first...too many times. It doesn't have to be that way for you.
no subject
Ei...thank you.
[Al sinks into her seat.]
...I'm really glad that you're back.
no subject
[On screen, Indiana jones grabs his hat from a crushing door trap.]
Man, he really loves that hat.
no subject
So what are we watching?
[He lost track of the movies after a while and it was just all becoming one long thing to him.]
no subject
The Nazis are the bad guys in this one, too...
no subject
[He adjusts himself in his seat, leaning back and putting his hands behind his head.]
no subject
...After this one, I think we should take a break and find out why they are treated so harshly.

[One of Werter's is still playing on the TV right now.]
no subject
Would it hurt you to ask for permission first? Or are you one of those people who think social conventions no longer apply to them because they're old?
