Power Crystals Getto!

[Post mission, Rock's pretty jazzed up.]

Alright! We did it Rush! We've got all the Power Crystals back!

[Rush barks excitedly, sharing his master's enthusiasm.]

Dr. Wily's gonna be thrilled. After all that time it took to get them all back, it seemed like he was getting pretty impatient. I know Dr. Light will be happy too.

Although... [He pauses for a moment frowning.] We still don't know who built those Robot Masters. They're still out there somewhere, and who knows what they'll try next.

[And he sighs.] And we still don't know what's up with Break Man.... You saw him, didn't you? That was definitely him who saved me back there when Shadow Man sneak attacked me.

[The robo dog whines and then bark affrimative.]

Well, I'm sure we'll see him again some time, so I'll definitely get some answers out of him then.

[He nods looking determined, and clenches his hands into fists.] Then we'll find the guy who built those Robot Masters and make sure he's brought to justice! Right, Rush?

[And Rush barks again in agreement, wagging his tail.]

So Break Man helped you out there? Wasn't he an enemy before?

Well, kinda. He kidnapped that girl, Luna, the last time we saw him, but the first time we met him he helped us destroy the Phazon before the Robot Masters could get it. This time he just showed up long enough to stop Shadow Man's Shadow Blade from hitting me before leaving again.

Hmm... I wonder. What if he got Luna so the villains won't get to her first? That would be catastrophic after all.

Because overall, it sounds that even if he's mysterious, he's working for a just purpose.

I never really thought of it like that. I guess that does make a bit more sense.

Pity he wasn't around long enough to ask him. Then we'd know for certain.

In any case, you have all the power crystals now! What are you going to do with them?

Well, it's still kinda top secret, but I'm sure you'll get to find out soon, now that we've got them all back.

Dr. Light must be an amazing scientist though... making robots of your caliber isn't an easy task at all, and on top of that there's his new project he's been working on.

Well, how many scientists can there be out there that have built sentient robots?

...Okay maybe that's a bit too wide-
But a GROUP of Sentient robots with a weakness circle? That could narrow it down.

Well... that seems to be kind of a pattern with Robot Masters in general. I'm not entirely sure why to be honest. Most of the scientists that have used the Robot Master AI in their creations are colleagues of Dr. Light's but he doesn't know every single person who used it.

[he thinks for a moment] The only person off the top of my head that's made more than one or two (other than Wily anyway) is Dr. Cossack, but we know who all of Dr. Cossack's Robot Masters are so it's not him. He'd never do something like that anyway. Dr. Cossack's a really good friend of Dr. Light's.

[Yeah, that's not until next game/arc if we ever actually get there, and Dr. Wily is a "friend" of Dr. Light's too, but he's "reformed."]

Ah, unless aliens decided to make robots on existing Earth technology for some reason, I kind of doubt it.

[[Hey Rock and Rush, look, it's that annoying red ball again! This time it's... not crashing into Rush this time. Rather it opens up and reveals a hologram of a girl, who stares intently at Rush.

Fotunately not too far is Hixar, familiar own or said Haro. What might be going on here?]]

Huh? [Rock and Rush look up to see the little red Haro from last time and blink when it projects an image of a girl.]

Uh, hello. [This is both to the Haro and to Hixar, who he also spots behind it.

Rush meanwhile, stares curiously back at the hologram, ear perking forward and tilting his head to one side.]

[[Hixar nods for now. This is a social experiment. If things go awry...]]

[[The Haro's hologram reaches over to Rush, and tries to pat him on the head. Except she's a hologram and goes through him, harmlessly.]]

It's okay. You guys obviously had your hands full with those other guys, and you did help me finish off Shadow Man in the end. Thanks again for that, by the way.

Your welcome. But who are they anyway? And what's with the crystal you're collecting?

Those were Robot Masters, and those crystals are part of a project my creator, Dr. Light and his friend Dr. Wily are working on together. The Robot Masters broke into the lab and stole them a while back and Dr. Light and I joined the White Chalice to make it easier to track them down.

((I think he already told him about this last time they talked, but I was super late in tagging back to that thread so I don't blame you if you didn't see that. XD; ))

Then either he has imprisoned somewhere, or they parted ways. [ She's not as helpless as she looks. He doubts she'd stay there willingly. ]

Are you alright? You weren't injured out there, were you?

I got a couple of nicks and dents here and there, but nothing Dr. Light couldn't fix up.

What about Break Man? Did he look... well, for lack of a better word, normal?

[ Last they had seen him, he was in the Ruin, after all. ]

I'm not sure... He was only there for a few seconds and he was a bit far away, but it didn't look like anything was different from what I could tell.

Maybe he was smart enough to know how to avoid the Ruin, then.

[ A sigh. Not the information he wanted to hear, but still better than nothing. ]
