[Despite everything that's gone on with Madoka and the Voxes, there's been something that's been bothering Kouji ever since the final fight with Baphomet - there were tons of elementals that were using Japanium as their form. And with the sole exception of the one he vaporized, there should have been lots more.

...there should have been more. Where the hell did it go? Did it just disappear after that goatman got banished?

This isn't good. I'd leave it like that, but Japanium's kind of a big deal. Especially with Dr. Hell around.

Yeah, we did. Mmm, could have went with that, but it just feels odd. Like I know we had more...

Well, I won't rule some sort of trickery out. Ashura could've still been in the area, along with who-knows-what-else.

Still though, we ran roughshod over all those Elementals, and it's not like any old scientist could just turn it all into Super Alloy Z for their own use.

I guess you're right, but it's better to be safe than sorry. Especially with everyone else out there.

Then we'll be safe. Or at least as safe as can be in this situation.

We prepare for the worst and hope for the best, that way even if someone slaps together some imitation Mazinger we'll be ready for it and beat it down harder than the elementals.

It sounds like something he might do, but is he subtle enough to pull that off without anyone noticing?

That's the problem - I'm not sure he is. Especially with someone like Ashura around.

It is, yeah. Japanium's the base element and Super Alloy Z's what it's refined into. So, it is worrisome to know someone else might get a hold of it.

And, yeah, we do. Besides the monsters we fight, bastard's actions killed my grandpa.

Still, given that you don't exactly see the Federation or Britannia running around with an army of Mazingers, I'd guess that making Super Alloy Z isn't actually a well known process?

And it isn't. Only those in the Photon Labs know how to even work it. Besides, since Japanium's really only found in Mt. Fuji, that makes it really rare...

...so, you call it Japanium? From what I can tell, it's very similar to the base alloy used for the X-Buster...Of course, the final product's been mixed with super-conductive alloys for better use of Plasma-X, making it more of a hybrid, but...

Anyway, I have a feeling that most if it got spirited away. If by anyone, it would have been Baron Ashura - the guy probably didn't get too far after our last fight and took advantage of everything...

He's... she's... whatever... one of Dr. Hell's minions. He pretty much does the old fart's heavy lifting. Hell usually chooses the monster and Ashura goes out to play with it.

And I usually break it.
