Most of the Clanners assembled here would agree with you, 'Audury'. Most of them, in fact, have been mercilessly ribbing Matthew about the phrases he picked up from Kamina.

"I cannot help but wonder how a man with such primitive gender views managed to take you as a bondsman!" Eilena remarks.

"Because he was a great fighter!" Matthew exclaims. "Because there is something to this 'fighting spirit' ethos many aboard the White Chalice talk about! If nothing else...his ideals of excellence and doing the impossible pushed him to do things that reason would have labeled hopelessly improbable...and suceeding anyway!"

He more quietly continues. "And that is why I strive to carry on his legacy...though perhaps I can come up with a more gender neutral way of expressing his ideas."
