[His Leo is offloaded the transport looking the same as ever. So at least some things haven't changed... BUT WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS UTTER INSANITY BEFORE YOU!?]

[Its the middle of the night. Maybe you're working in the hangars. Maybe you're getting some rest in your quarters. Maybe you're getting a late night snack.]

[Then you hear it. The sound of a rodent. A gerbil to be precise. Its sitting not too far away. It seems to have been painted... oddly it faintly resembles one of the machines in the hangar... and there's a doll on its back that resembles the pilot of the aforementioned machine the gerbil resembles.]

[Then you spot a few more Gerbils. And then several more.... and MORE.]

[Throughout the Chalice, the story is the same. Massive amounts of painted gerbils with likenesses of various Chalice personel strapped to their backs.]

[Somewhere within the Chalice, amongst the mass chirping and squeaking - there's a wall with something painted on it.]

[The wording is sloppy and ill painted. But anyone with knowledge of german could translate it.]

[There was a gerbil painted in the likeness of the Seravee... with a tiny replica of himself riding it. Tieria, to say the least, was entirely unimpressed by the creature and its presence.

Tieria reached for a nearby cup, currently empty, that he kept on the nightstand and made to trap the creature underneath. He had no intent to harm it, but he was going to figure out whatever was behind this. Of all the pranks he had seen so far, this was one of the most obnoxious.]

Cynthia pounces on a gerbil made out to look like EVA-04. She grins as she carries it back to her room, plopping it down in a wire cage next to a Dominator Gerbil. She's got a second cage set up that houses a gerbils made out like the Zeong and Gaza-C.

Come on, guys! Bouncy's catching up!

[And Pit is running through the corridor, laughing happily, with a half dozen gerbils in various mech suits trailing after him, and a last one (that happens to have a more than passing resemblance to a Crossbone Gundam) trying to catch up. He seems to have actually befriended the little rodents.

And apparently is playing tag with them, not seeing anything wrong with a sudden gerbil invasion.]

[The area around Laura's Knightmare Frame in the hangar has been marked off with warning barriers, behind which on the floor a ring of sticky tape has been laid down. Laura herself is seated in the cockpit, left open while she reads and drinks tea and studiously avoids watching the floor or any visible vents or doors.

She's got her technician's jumpsuit zipped up and buttoned down more than she usually bothers with. And... the legs tucked in to her boots...?]

Shoutaro had heard the news that someone who looked like Luger had came back, but he acted in stark contrast to his normal persona. By the time he learned of this though, the gerbils had struck. He had even spotted a goofy looking one with his likeness painted onto it (which he scooped up and immediately dubbed "Hamtaro" before placing him in his vest pocket). It was then that he found Luger's little message.

He couldn't help himself. "Luger, you son of a bitch!" He began to laugh his ass off.
