It's called betting. You bet possessions if temporarily, in exchange for trying to win at the game.

Tatsu don't really get it but if it is something humans normally do Tatsu wants to learn. So can Tatsu play?

Tatsu was watching for a while. Correct Tatsu if Tatsu is wrong but the objective seems to be matching cards.

It's a little more complex than that, but the general gist of it is like that. However you want to make various combinations of higher suites in order to let you win.
