SCARY MOVIE MARATHON: THE RE-HORRORENATING
[It's All Hallow's Eve, which means it's time for a Blackwell Family Tradition: Staying up all night and watching tons of horror movies! Everyone's invited! Zombies, vampires, serial killers, aliens, giant monsters-the classic lineup of horror films is here in full force.]
2.[Later on in the night, Roads can be found hiding behind the couch, cautiously peeking over at the more extreme spats of violence and gore.]
Ugh...stupid Anthony Hopkins...
(OOC: The first is just general movie madness for anyone who wants to get involved. The second is more for people who want to deal with Roads specifically.)

Well, or was. At the moment, it's more that there's a spiked club the size of a car smashed into the wall where a TV was a bit ago, and a Pit looking down as Palutena scolds him]
...and you know perfectly well these are just movies! What was this-!
I said I'm sorry! I just got startled when the black thing with the spikes popped out!

This is messed up, man.

Ahahahahahahah... ahaha... hahah.... hah... Oh, Mr. Antihero, this is so great!

And by "Thing" we naturally mean the 2011 one.]
... Worst fucking film ever made!
Re: 1
It couldn't have been that bad for a prequel.

The movies based off of The Thing and Who Goes There? made after this? They're fine. But it's just...
... To be honest, what made me love the Carpenter film so much was it sorta spoke to me when I was just growing up in Antarctica. Its a film that really has a place in my heart because I could relate to the setting.
And the prequel...
[He's already gritting his teeth.]

I remember seeing this years ago...
...I couldn't finish it.

[Laura jumps pretty impressively, landing curled up and barely perched on her seat, hands over her head. Resnick and Mio would be disappointed.]

Hehe. Sorry Laura. I couldn't resist. It was just too perfect.

At least it's not the first movie... the one where the killer snuck up from behind the couch while they were distracted by the TV!

[Good luck Laura, you just made Lily lift the couch and aim a psigun at the dust-covered floor.]

Ummm...
[She's got that look on her face - the "sorry, I was just teasing you" look. Lily knows it well by now.]

[Lily sits down on the couch, though.]
It's just that supernatural, irrational things are more, um, unnerving.

[Laura puts her arm around Lily and pats her shoulder.]
It's fun to have a bit of a scare, though, isn't it?

...As long as there are no ghosts in it, that is.

You have got to be kidding me.
(What movie was on? Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah. Who is now on the screen? Emmy Kano. Mind. Blown.)

I don't get it. Why are cannibals scary?

What if one of the random people we pick up is a murder? They could be totally crazy and nobody would find out...until it's too late.
