We burn out in the dark / We are invisiable stars

1] It's been a while since Adette had sneaked away for a dedicated drinking session in some dark corner of the ship, but the fast had past, and the buxom blonde was creeping around the hallways with a bottle tucked under her arm.
Adette sort of pocking her head into open doors, trying to find a place that was either unoccupied, or she found someone to drink with, either was acceptable at this point.

2] Later, after Adette had gotten herself sufficiently drunk, she went to sit on the observation deck. She carried her high heels in one hand as she walked, smiling as if she was pleased with the whole world. Despite her intoxication she didn't stumble, or trip. Adette was a pro and not even close to wasted, just happy drunk, buzzing with warmth and simply happiness. Once there she found a place to sit and just sort of got stuck, staring up at the night sky, her head tipped back, golden hair falling down her back, and pooling on the seat behind her. Adette loved this feeling, this sense of fulfillment, and joy, mixed in with the alcohol's soothing way to help one forget their troubles (not that she had many these days). This was the high every drinker should seek, when all that is left is happiness, and everything else just fades away.

He stopped and looked a little concerned. If she was sneaking off to drink, did that mean she was becoming restless again?

"You know if you keep walking around like that, your face will get stuck that way!"

He looked down at the bottle. "More importantly, this is just a recreational drink, quiaff? Not because you are feeling...restless again, quineg?" Blunt even in concern for one's trothkin.

"Well I guess it's a good thing I'm not important enough to get sequester in such a meeting. But I think you highly underestimate the power of a party." Adette walked over to him, and poked him one in the chest, with a sly sort of smile. "Oh yes, yes I'm fine! I had been a while since I sough a little solace in the bottom of the bottle, and it's not like I've got anything else better to do."

"You really are dense you know that?" Adette smirked at him, "Being alive. That's enough to celebrate to me, and I think most people here would agree too." She held the bottle aloft, as if it where some grand prize. "Every day we live to drink another drink is a day I'm thankful for. We need to booze up the crew so they can feel as good as I do when I'm sloshed."

He looked lustfully at the bottle
take that as thou wilst. "Will you share your thanks with me then? Frivolous meetings are not the only thing on my mind...I am having trouble with the sibbie I...what was the expression...took under my wing. ...savashri phrase makes me sound like a Falcon."2
Oh, hi!
Re: 2
Adette turned her head a little, a soft, wide, warm smile on her lips.
" Heya, sailor. Did you hear the stars calling too?"
Re: 2
Re: 2
"Mmmm, good, cuze I did." Adette scooted over the bench so he could sit down if he wanted to, her pun seemed much funnier to her than it. apparently, was.
"Like a drink?" She picked up the half full bottle out from under the bench and offered it to him with a smirk.
Re: 2
Seeing the bottle, Bernie scratched the back of his head, "Ehh, no thank you. Did you...drink all of that?"
Re: 2
"I won't bite you, ya know." Adette put the bottle away, not even taking another drink, she was quite happy right where she was.
"And yes I did. And now you're going to judge me for that, and probably come up with some vile assumptions about me." Adette sighed a little, she was kind of used to it at this point, though it didn't make it any less insulting.
Everyone had a vice, right?

Bernie looked surprised, waving his hands. He didn't mean to look insulting or the like.
"I'm just turning it down because I'm not hungry or thirsty right now. That's all."
But he does come over to her and the bench. He smiles.
"Had a hard day?"

"Without a worry in the world, even if it's temporary."
