Angelic Pastimes
[So thanks to a certain aspiring scientist, Pit has discovered the magic of... videogames! (Insert dramatic sound here). It's not hard to guess he's going to take to them like a fish to water...

[...so some time later you might find him in a corridor, talking loudly to a portable console]
...come on, Snuggles! sit! Sit! No, wait! I have treats! [The virtual pet, instead, decides to go away. Pit slumps his shoulders] Awww...
I guess pets really aren't your thing?
[Pit hangs his head even lower for a bit before shaking it and turning the console off, and putting in another game.]
Bah, whatever, that game was stupid and I didn't really want to play it anyway!
Suuuuure...
[He looks over the borrowed games] Let's see what else is here...

[Some time later, if you happen to pass by Pit's room, you'll find the door is open, and that he's managed to get ahold of an old console and connected it to the TV, and is playing it enthusiastically. More interesting, however, is that he's not playing alone - there's a beautiful, unknown greenhaired woman in a white dress holding the second controller.
And, from the sounds coming out of the room, apparently schooling his ass into next week.]
Oh come ON! You're totally watching my side of the screen! How did you even know I was there?
Oh, don't be a sore loser, Pit. It's just a game. [Her smile, however, expresses her satisfaction at winning pretty visibly]

S-So anyways I didn't think that you could...appear like this Palutena.
[It wasn't hard to recognize that evil muffled laughter.]

She can even do a thing where she's in several places at the same time!

...what?
Tremble before my mighty skills of ninjary! [Palutena does a mock fighting pose with her hands, grinning]
...that's not true!
As far as you know, at least. [And she gives Pit a knowing, confident half smirk]

[Madoka is already in a begging position planting her forehead on the ground.]

I haven't taught even Pit everything, and he saved my kingdom once. So why should I take you as a disciple?
Not to mention you totally aren't a ninja.
Come on, young grasshopper. Give me a good sale.
What is she now, a piece of ham?
Now Pit, I'm talking to Madoka.
And totally making all this up.

[Could you blame her for taking Palutena's word here.]
Well I'm fully capable of learning anything you could teach me, my cousin Youko said that with I could accomplish anything if I went at it with Jersey Spirit. I've never lost a beach flag race either. Also I help about 20 people a week give or take a few depending on the season. OH and my three sizes are 84・58・88 in case you need to know that as well. Under your tutelage I'll be able to help way more people at once when I learn all of your techniques.

[Palutena, in the meantime, listens to Madoka intently. Pit blushes on the measurements thing, but says nothing.]
Hmmmm... well, if nothing else you certainly have the proper attitude. Let me think... [And she does a pretty big show of being thinking and analyzing Madoka, including raising a hand and looking at her through her fingers as if looking at her through some kind of reading instrument]
...perhaps, yes. But before I can teach you any real secret techniques, you're going to have to work. You have the attitude, but now we're going to have to work on your aptitude. [She turns to Pit, commanding] Pit?
[Pit instantly gets up] Yes, Lady Palutena?
From now on I want you to take Madoka here in your basic training workouts.
...bwah? [Confused Pit is confused]
[Not paying attention to Pit, Palutena looks back at Madoka, serious]There's more to being a ninja than clones, after all. You will need incredible aptitude of body and mind to even have a chance to use any of my techniques, Madoka Kyouno. So Pit is going to help you with the basics. Speed, resistance, hand to hand combat, and how to use all manner of thrown weapons.
Wait what.
Don't worry, Pit. [Palutena smiles] You've managed to actually turn the Centurions into pretty competent fighters, I'm sure you'll have a snap with a brighter pupil like Madoka!
But- but-! [Pit is too confused to reply at the moment. Please come back in a minute]
