*Yurika appears on the deck of the ship with streamers and balloons. She's wearing a big, green, fuzzy frog suit and a party hat. There is cake.

What is going on?*

Everyone~! I know we've all been depressed because of our recent losses, but today, the White Chalice's forces have managed to win! You know what I think? We don't celebrate winning enough! So I've had a massive party put together -- or at least the best I could get on short notice! ♥ Come on! We have games and balloons and a dance floor~!

*...and indeed, all those things are there.*

"True, so you're going to take me dancing instead of pestering him," said Shirley in her most authoritative voice. "You lead or should I?"

Shirley could use her cutesy tone and get him to follow her to hell and back. Authority just makes him worry... Like so...

"Dance... Eehhhh... I... don't know how..." he says in his tiny, 'you can't hear me' voice.

"Pleaaaaaaase?" Okay there's the cutesy tone in the making.

"I... don't know how to dance..." That was a bit louder!

"I'll teach you then," said Shirley with a grin.

"You... don't have to..." Yes, you do. He's gotta have other ways of sweeping her off her feet besides saving her sweet ass from raining Festum!

"It's not so hard. Here. You put your hand here, and your other goes in mine. And then it's just one, two, three, one, two three."

MarKus is down for putting his hand on her hip. This isn't unusual, but fairly new in occurrence. Holding hands, that's a bit more intimate, and still awesome.

Step step step. Step step step... Well, he's not fuckin up yet!

"It's fairly easy. Dances are always in a beat. One, two, three helps it out a lot." admitted Shirley. "Formal dancing even easier."

Well, okay, it is easy. And he likes being this close to her, but, something about it is still embarrassing. And it's not even that she's leading him. It's just a level of mushy he hasn't adjusted to yet.

MarKus is always at a 15 of 10 on the Hot Blood scale, this is about a 2...

"Too bad there's nothing... yanno... formal to go to."

"True, but formal parties are always such a drag," remarked Shirley, grinning at him. "Don't worry, this is good enough for now."

It was just fine for him too, so all he could do was grin cheezily as he learned the basics of dancing.

"Not bad, not bad at all," said Shirley, guiding him through the basic four-step. "You're doing great."

"Only cuz I've got a great teacher."

He really can't stop smiling.

"Where'd you learn to dance?"

"Mom and dad were pretty traditional. Wanted me to learn the old dance steps and all. Considering its also needed for formal affairs, I took to it." Shirley grinned. "It's not really that daunting is it?"

"Mine were always kinda busy designing mecha for TECZ. They were there but... yanno... kinda not? Twelve hours of work and eight of sleep doesn't make for a lot of family time."

He doesn't look the least bit perturbed by this.

"So I got to helping them with robots instead."

"I can understand that. Ma and Pa were farmers. Though I was always interested in vehicles and speed." admitted Shirley, spinning him.

"Oh... hey so... when am I gonna have to meet them and all?" It'd have to happen eventually, right?

"Hey, at least you'd know a little something about tractors and stuff, right? Slow as fuck as they are, they used em' right?"

"Probably sometime. They're working the farm last I heard."

She nodded. "Yeah, we use tractors. They have to be slow, because we pull heavy equipment. Too fast and we get bad harvests or bad tilling of the soil."

"Well... I guess... It probably wouldn't do any good for have a fast tractor unless you were... I unno... racing them or something."

At least he was still dancing while making all this goofy conversation.

"Heh, I wish I could, but it's dead boring. I like going fast after all."

"What, racin tractors? Can't we just rig em up and... MAKE them haul ass?

Sounds like something we could both get behind, yeah?"

"Could be at that. I've never tried making a tractor go fast to be honest. But it does sound like fun."

"We'll have to find a chance to do that some time. I don't think you're gonna get a tractor on here for very long!"

"If we visit, I'll convince pa to let you trip out the tractor." said Shirley with a grin.
