[Arika's in a pretty good mood. She's making new friends, she's adopted the start of a new family, and she got to be really cool and beat that giant monster. Granted, she's still a bit weirded out by using a person as a weapon, but... it was cool!]

Horrible... aa, but Tsukasa said he'd tutor me!

I'd offer to help you, but I'm not sure I'll know anything you're taking. [A sad smile.] Not that I wouldn't try. Tsukasa may be a better idea, though.

Tsukasa's my big brother now, so I'm sure he can help! Thanks, though!

Yeah, that sounds like a better idea.

Been doing anything other than your horrible classes?

Mhm, mhm! I was helping Tsukasa, and then there was a fight with a big monster, and Tsukasa turned this one guy into a sword, and then this other guy into two guys, and then the three of them did a big kick and then I used the big sword to stop the big monster guy!

That's... that's ridiculous! I can't even imagine that! But it must have been cool to watch!

I'm sure it was! It was really cool!

[Van smiles.] I think I need to join you for stuff in the future. You seem to get all the cool action!

[Arika blushed] I'm not supposed to be getting cool action. I guess it's just... wrong place at the wrong time...

[A shrug.] If you say so... Doesn't make it any less true. Besides, it can't be any less interesting than anything I normally do, even if it's normal stuff.

What do you normally do?

That's the problem. Nothing. I don't really have any hobbies, and I don't know very many people on the ship. So I'm normally in the hangar talking to Zeke, or maybe writing a letter in case I ever see my sister again. [He frowns slightly.] That's... about it.

Why don't you ask Tsukasa if you can help in the kitchen?

That's... [A moment of consideration.] ...not a horrible idea, actually. I might do that. Any other ideas?

Umm... I think the mechanics can always use help.

Also not a bad idea. That'd be... Orlando, right? I might go look for him later too.

[Van blinks.] Van Flyheight. I guess we haven't actually met before, huh? You're so well known around the ship, since you're running around everywhere...

[Arika puts her hand behind her head]

Hehe. Oh well. At least it means everyone knows you, right? That's not a bad thing.

Until my teachers ask why, and I end up with another detention...

[Arika sweatdropped]

...Oh. Yeah, that'd be a problem. I don't think there's anything to do about that, though.

[Arika sighed]

At least Tsukasa's gonna help me with my schoolwork. If I do better in classes, maybe I won't get detention as often!

Well, that'll be good, right? One way or another, things'll get better.

Mhm! And then I'll graduate and become a Meister Otome, and I can protect eeryone!
