Wahrheit Repair - Locked to Orlando Desmarais
[Alexei appears rather content as a new pair of arms and legs are slowly rolled into the hangar holding Wahrheit]
Who would've guessed Neo America had a Bernard and Felix Foundation outpost? And they said the League only operated on Earth...
[After the goods have been delivered, Orlando would get a rather sudden call]
Orlando. This is Alexei. That thing I was talking about having you do? It's time to do it. I hope to see you within the next hour in Wahrheit's hangar. Bring tools... and Handyman. You're gonna need em.

Orlando. This is Alexei. That thing I was talking about having you do? It's time to do it. I hope to see you within the next hour in Wahrheit's hangar. Bring tools... and Handyman. You're gonna need em.
Finally!
Yo.

Take your sweet time, not like we're on a deadline or anything...
[You can't tell if he's being serious or not]
Anyway, before we get started, hop out of that thing, I have something to give you...

[Still he hops down and looks curiously.]
So what's this about?
no subject
Well, couldn't honestly do this until I got the backup parts. As you can see, the legs as well as the right arm are completely gone.
[He then looks at the brand new shipment of arms and legs]
I'm sure you're familiar with Armored Core modularity, or shall I explain it?

[Alexei would hand over a small card with the League's symbol on it]
The requested amount... More in it for you once we finish this job. Hopefully there'll be no suprises like last time.
[He points up to the Wahrheit]
We'll be taking the legs off first. Once the Handyman gets a firm grasp, let me know, I'll remove the saftey locks and the legs will just pop right off...

[As he climbs back into the handyman to do as asked, he adds on]
You know, if you're after making this actually easy, the Clockmaker contains a full mecha repair suite. Better job in less time.

I'm sure Clockmaker could do a better job, but of course, I have to make sure the mechanic is up to par. Not to say that you aren't, but protocol is protocol... Not to mention, I have to be on-site anyway to release the safety locks on the legs.
[He awaits Orlando to grasp onto the Wahrheit's legs]
Oh, and by the by. Kojima generator is offline. There might still be some Kojima in the legs, but nothing too lethal...

[The Handyman gets a good grip on Wahrheit's legs.]
Do it.

If you want to take a look at em, be my guest. Always fun to get an up close and personal look at it.

I know how armor cores work. I've done a fair amount of research on them myself, specifically about the modularity.
no subject
Did more homework than Lowe did eh? Not bad, Orlando. Keep the legs, by the way, if you have room in Clockmaker...I have something special planned for those. For now, position the new ones. I want to make sure Wahr can stand upright again.

This was a while ago. I've developed special limbs that can replace destroyed limbs on the field just by slapping them on. I don't want to get too much into the specifics, but the initial design was inspired from armored cores.

[Another 5 are heard, the safety locks putting the legs into place]

[He purges the right arm entirely, or what was left of it, disregarding the safety pins and just letting it fall to the ground]
I'm not sure if you're acquainted with my first suit, the Strayed?

[5 pins appear from the right arm of the Wahrheit]
Makes me wonder if...someone with knowledge in NEXT units couldn't take a look at it...probably restore it...maybe even modify it a bit?
[Subtlety was NOT Alexei's strong point]
no subject
Could be an interesting side project.

[He watches as the arm gets attached now]
Possibly even make a streamlined cockpit so anyone could use it... The boosters would have to be toned down though. Anyone that would use a standard cockpit with that kind of speed would get throttled rather quickly... I'd keep it off the record from the League though...
