Haruka Will Never Live This Down (Locked to Ichitaka, or I guess one call)
[In a nearby Neo-American jail, a girl faces the long arm of the law...]
I told you guys already, those weapons were mandatory! The captain told us that it was part of any visit to Neo-America, especially if we were going to visit the president!
[Two strapping suited fellows drag her over to a nearby cell, unlock the door, and toss her in next to a similarly young boy. The door is locked again, and they leave. Haruka's just gonna be sitting in a corner after she picks herself back up, hugging her knees to her chest.]
Man, why did it have to go this way...
[[For context everyone, see this thread.]]

Don't worry about it, I'm sure President Michael will make true on his promise and get us pardoned as soon as the welcoming ceremony is over...
I hope.

...sorry about dragging you into this, Ichitaka...

Although I never would have thought anyone would take the Captain's words that literally.

I figured that it was part of the rules, and nobody bothered to correct me, and the armory was unlocked, so...yeah...
...Man, everyone back home must have seen that...

Technically you were just following orders and if you weren't corrected you can't be blamed for doing what you thought was right.
You shouldn't be so hard on yourself Haruka.
If they're taking this long to bail us out they probably didn't notice us getting arrested at all.

...how are you staying so optimistic?
no subject
It's something I promised myself a long time ago.

...you know, I don't know that much about you, Ichitaka...just that your grandpa was a professor, and that your brother ran off before you joined up.

I never thought they would have auditions to see who would pilots Idols though.

Up until just a bit ago I lived with my grandfather and little brother in San Francisco. It...wasn't the best of conditions, especially with how some britannians act, but...well, I made some friends there with the other japanese kids and some americans.
...how were things up on the colonies? Earth's been having a rough time.

It kinda depresses me that Britannians would act like that even after the Second Impact...
I didn't always live in the Colonies, I actually used to live in Fuso, at least until my parents passed away. My gramps and any my brother aren't actually related to me by blood. Gramps adopted me after I lost my parents and brought me up to the colony to live with them. Even if we aren't blood related I still see the both of them as my family. That's why I want to find them.

...Sorry, I shouldn't say that...but mine have been missing since the Second Impact. I'm japanese, but we had to move to Fuso and then San Francisco after everything that's happened.

Say...what sort of stuff do you like to do in your free time, Ichitaka?

...I think I might like to play with you sometime.

Now we just need to get out of here somehow.
