[ he says. The headline of the paper indicates it's a briefing of some kind, and as to how Char got his hands on it, is unclear. The headline heads: 'THE TITANS THREAT'. ]

Sir Char, I assume the one who wrote this is not talking about the mythological beings! But then... with the current world, one must not be too surprised if that was the case.

The Titans are an elite unit of the Earth Sphere Federation. They were tasked with wiping out the rest of Zeon, but in the process, they resorted to witch hunt-like tactics and have imprisoned or murdered many innocent people.

I suppose it was only a matter of time before Axis found out.

Haman Karn has always hated the Federation. This is all the excuse she needs to invade the Earth Sphere again. But this reads more like anti-Titan propaganda than an ultimatum. These pamphlets are popping up all over the colonies, and are encouraging spacenoids to rise up against the Titans' oppression. It's possible that Axis is trying to recruit from angry space colonists.

Earth is being invaded by various incredibly alien beings, and humans still battle each other? I cannot even describe how irresponsible this behavior is! Both the Titans and Axis should be ashamed.

I... feel like the pot calling a kettle here, if only a little. It is true that the Houses decided that this is the most opportune time to engage in conflict, but we are actively trying to limit its scope and only engage in small skirmishes!

It's human nature. They're inherently savage. Even when they should be uniting, the desire for power still proves too strong.

Newtypes are the next phase of human evolution, and emerged just as humanity migrated into space. It is impossible to happen all at once; different people change at different rates.

The society of Newtypes will be an enlightened, peaceful one? I wonder how will it look like - a wonderful place to live in, undoubtedly!

Perhaps I should awaken as a Newtype as well. But then... I still have to defeat the other Houses before I can live a peaceful existence!

This is propaganda, with a thinly-veiled ultimatum thrown in. If this keeps up, I fear Haman will take more drastic measures.

Axis Zeon recognizes the Titans are gunning for them, so they're trying to get the people on their side, most likely to recruit them into the military. The Titans are likely to get wind of this, and will try and silence them. If things escalate fast enough, then we're looking at OYW re-enactment, and not the fun kind.

It was only a matter of time before Axis found out that the Titans were persecuting spacenoids as a whole, whether they were sympathetic to Zeon or not. Not a whole lot of people are sticking up for them. If Axis does, and with the fact that the Federation has given the Titans a blank check to quell any anti-Federation sentiment, they're likely to succeed.

Until Haman gets her head on straight, I don't think she'd be much better than the Titans. But the Federation won't lift a finger to reign in their extremism. Nobody else seems to care, either, and the White Chalice can't take on the entire Titan army alone, even with the impressive line-up of pilots we have here.

Someone needs to convince the Colonies to rise up.

It's either that or somehow convince the Federation officials to cut the Titan's funding. Considering that it's doubtful the Federation even has much sway over the Titans, our best bet would be to somehow hit them where it hurts to cripple them.

The Federation justifies the Titans' actions by their own fear of another Zeon invasion. Even Amuro would have difficulty convincing them that the Titans have gone too far. We'd need to turn public outrage on the Titans, so that the Federation Assembly is pressured into taking action by their own angry constituents.
