Dan: Sorry to bug you all but there's trouble. Our sensors have picked up a Neuroi heading for Megijima Island. It's uninhabited from what we can tell but we can't let a Neuroi slip by our fingers.

Shirley: You heard him girls, all Witches move out! I'll be coordinating efforts from here.

Dan: Also can we have about oh, 4 volunteers to go with them? I know these girls are tough but its a big Neuroi.

So chasing down the Neuroi seems to be your main option. It's not in visual range yet, but it will be sooner or later. Banter away everyone, you have a moment to chat.

(ooc: prompt 2 is part of the mission itself and is meant for the lineup. Prompt 1 will be open to volunteers, prepwork etc.

Ooh! Been a while since we've had a Neuroi to deal with. [Lucchini may be a little too happy to get off the ship maybe? She follows after Yoshika after a few seconds.] Hey, we'll be able to up our scores Yoshika. [Yep trying to keep a light mood at least.]

Eh-heh, yeah-it has! (Sheepish/surprised expession appear now! She's not surprised Lucchini's able to keep up, though. The Romagna Witch could probably outpace a cheetah.) Yeah, we'll definitely up our scores Lucchini.

(Why now, after practically 2 months of inactivity? Why did the Neuroi choose to return now? Definitely something to ponder as Yoshika heads to the hangar area.)

[Lucchini of course has no trouble at all keeping up. She might be able to but it would be a hard race, she leaves the speed for Shirley, the ripping through things and general chaos... more her style]

Shirley's going to wish she was out there with us.

[The Rominga Witch is trying to figure things out in the back of her head.] It's an isolated island right? Maybe it's just scouting. We'll take it down before it can hurt anyone in Fuso. Then maybe we can stop for Ramen before coming back to the ship.

...Yeah. It's not every day we fight Neuroi over unpopulated countries.

(The Fuso native giggles lightly while nodding to Lucchini's suggestion.) Sure! If it's just scouting we'll have nothing to worry about - bring it down, try some Ramen and see if we can bring Shirley some back to make for her on the Chalice.

[Lucchini was keeping her earbud open so Shirley could hear if she wanted.]

Hear that Shirley, after this Yoshika and I are calling for a little R&R! We demand Ramen!

[Poor AXI, after Gregory's adjustments, is still incapable of flight, so he's making due with a flight platform.]

... I should tried to get a set of thrusters or something on this.

Know the feeling. [Scott, not yet morphed, had to catch a ride. Even if he had morphed, only the Megazord was good for crossing the water.] I might drive a mech that looks like an eagle, but it doesn't stay in the air long.

... That kinda begs the question of why to give it a bird motif in the first place.

Hybridizing the tech with animal DNA helps keep Venjix from infecting the systems, since he can't make heads or tails out of biofields. I guess an eagle was only symbolic, since my old unit was Eagle Squadron?

That's... somewhat reasonable.

A shame it can't fly though.

Yeah. Gliding's fine when I need it, but the only truly flight-worthy zords were prototypes, for Rangers Gold and Silver, who are busy bombing Alphabet Soup facilities and any remaining Venjix bases. Gold's got Falcon Zord, which looks more like a giant flying chicken, to be honest. Silver's got Tiger Jet.

[The tone of his voice says "I don't know how an eagle can't fly but a tiger can either, so don't ask."]

Shirley-- Captain? You're not coming...?

Sadly I can't. Someone's got to stay back and coordinate you guys from the operating tower like Minna does back home.

You, Lucchini and Yoshika, you three should be able to work together well. Don't worry, we'll be fine back here. Go get em.

We will do our best, Shirley. I'm so sorry we can't be with you out there.

That's the spirit. I'd be out there but you know, someone has to do this and stay back.
