[During the Earth-side's group stay, the Ptolomeios has been searching relentlessly for any trace of those imitation Celestial Being Gundams.  And though up until now they hadn't found anyone...]

Hixar, Setsuna, Allelujah, Lockon.

We've found them.  A few dozen clicks south of here, in fact... if we move fast, we might be able to get the jump on them.

Hixar was busy trying anything he could get his fingers on to get the Gundam's systems back online. Even if it would've just been his, it was better than nothing at all!

As Kyrios barreled towards earth, already at terminal velocity from his desperate charge, Allelujah was slamming the controls forward, punching his power source, pounding at the controls - none of it worked. With gravity pulling him downward, the pilot slumped forward, still pulling and twisting his controls, but the heart was gone from it. Kyrios refused to respond, and if Kyrios wouldn't move, then Allelujah's life was dwindling as quickly as the ground approached.

"... Sorry, Hallelujah. It looks like we're going to die after all." There was no response from his counterpart; what more was there to say?

[This wasn't real. It couldn't be. Ali-Al-Saachez gets a fucking Gundam, the Federation has already begun mass producing the Solar Furnace, and now their Gundams were shutting down? This wasn't real. This can't be real! It was a sick joke! Why would this happen!? Setsuna, driven to despair, is stuck in the falling Exia as he tries to force it to move.]

[Things are not going good for the Gundam Meisters either; Dynames crippled, Kyrios and Exia falling to the Earth... but then-]

EVERYONE!

[And suddenly the systems snap back on, Sumeragi's worried but relieved face visible on the screens.]

I thought I...

... After our incident with those pilots we installed an emergency system inside of the Gundams that operated without Veda's assistance!

You four... don't let this be the end!

Now what about-

It's done. Level seven's clear. Complete control over Veda's ours.

[And before the two men, a cryo-stasis container emerged containing the body of Aeolia Schenberg. The older of the two grinned before pulling out a handgun.]

And here he is, just like I expected. Aeolia Schenberg, in cryogenic stasis in the hopes of one day seeing the world's reformation. Centuries ago the process of cold sleep was much less refined, and you knew possibly you might never awaken. Too bad we'll never find out.

[Two shots which tear through Aeolia's head and cause a nearby heartbeat monitor to flatline end that though.]

And now it-

[... And at that, alarms began to blare.]

Overwhelmed with pain and confusion Lockon grips his sniping unit, moving awkwardly to look down it's scope with his other eye.
"Come Haro, I need you more than ever!" He put on hand on the redundant robot, who flapped his ears with excitement.
There was no time to question or argue anything, there wasn't even time to think about the glass shards embedded in his face, or the fact that his cockpit had been flayed open. Right now Lockon was thinking about only one thing.

"Lockon Stratos, Targeted and Firing!! The Dynames hurled through the air, rifle drawn, firing faster than he had before, shot after shot seeking out enemy units, thankful for the blessing of Haro to do most of the targeting, it seemed like even he was working faster than normal.
"Allelujah! Setsuna! Hixar! Are you guys alright?!"

In a way, Hixar's eyes lit up... literally. It was a form of understanding that he didn't quite... understand. In a way he felt he knew what had happened but it was so vague that nothing made a whole lot of sense at the time.

"I'm fine, thank you." Hixar responded. Sadalsuud stood it's ground and soon, started opening fire, rapidly switching shell types inside the launcher. Even despite Hayana's lack of input, he had an excellent grasp on the situation.

[This... what just happened? That was Aeolia Schenberg's voice, wasn't it? Setsuna didn't really understand what just happened, all he knew was that Exia was moving faster than ever, even faster than he thought possible without the Avalanche equipment!]

[He could Do this.]

SAACHEZ! [And now Setsuna's gonna resume his charge against Ali-Al, aiming to strike at him as many times as he can with the GN Blades supported by this new power's speeds.]

As soon as the lights flickered back on, Allelujah's head snapped up, and a slightly crazed grin appeared on his face. "Sorry, Allelujah; looks like I'm going to be with you a while longer!" Rather than retain control, however, his crazed other half gave way to Allelujah as he resurfaced, blazing with rekindled fury.

How the hell did Kyrios suddenly go from falling to blazing perpendicular to the ground in under a second? More importantly, Kyrios had dropped its beam sabers when it had gone offline, but as it suddenly changed directions one of the hands snapped out and latched onto a falling hilt; Kyrios was armed again, and inside the cockpit, normally gentle Allelujah was eying the nearest GN-X with murder in his eyes.
