[As Gundam Freya Repair limps into the hangar to be taken in for repairs, Nadia Cross hops out and looks around, finding thet surroundings oddly nostalgic in the back of her mind. In a way, it's good to be back, but the circumstances...]

[With sudden intensity, Nadia turns and punches the hangar wall almost hard enough to bloody her knuckles, breathes heavily for a few seconds, then gathers her thoughts and continues on, looking much calmer.]

First off, I want to apologize to the people who were out there when I arrived. I should have explained my situation in advance, and I shouldn't have assumed the worst.

The group that's hunting me is called Codex Regius; the Asgard mobile suits are a specialist hit squad working for them. I don't know much about their motivations, but they've been hunting down and destroying the Midgard Project that Freya was created to lead since I left the Chalice. They're... terrorists, basically. They operate mostly in space, taking innocent lives without any remorse. This is the first I've heard of them having ties with Celestial Being, though...


...unfortunate circumstances aside, I'm glad to be back. I've seen a couple familiar faces already, and if nothing else, Freya's long overdue for some proper repairs.

Spent all winter running from Codex Regius. I've had to keep it in working order however I could.

I have. Not all of it was bad, though. Half a year ago, I had never even been to Earth.

The reactor's been giving me heating problems for a couple weeks now. Most of the armor damage has been covered with armor salvaged from other mobile suits. Half the joints are on the verge of breaking down; the right knee actually gave out on the way here. One of the main cameras is going to need to be replaced completely.

It's still Freya, though. The Assault Shield has held up fine, and even got a bit of an upgrade.

Just... don't go piloting it until then. It sounds like it's in no condition to even see you walk out of the hangar.

What is the Midgard Project?

Midgard was going to be a specialized strike force of elite Gundam pilots who would operate outside of the Federation to protect the freedom and peace of the space colonies. Things got started before I could learn all the details of the project, but I think that Midgard was planned as a reaction to Codex Regius, or whoever's behind them. One to protect the colonies, one to turn them against each other and destroy them.

Either way, it doesn't matter much anymore. Codex struck while we were still trying to get the designated pilots together. I don't even know if any of the Midgard pilots or their Gundams survived the last few months other than myself.

That's what this one looks like, at least. When you're trying to hold a mobile suit together with minimal resources, you don't tend to value aesthetics.

It looks pretty cool, though. Even if lack of good maintenance probably has a terrible effect on the performance.
