She happens not to be in one of the beds though, and is rather seated in a wheel chair, though, her legs do not seem to be broken, or even damaged; dare you stare long enough to find out.

I hope it's not gonna become a pattern too, but just in case, if I can get clearance i'm bringing Shortening Of The Way as close as is tactically feasible on your next operation. ['As close is tactically feasible'. She knows most soldiers hate the idea of having noncoms around on their operations, but are glad for their presence when they're hurt.]
