[ Char can be found in the observation deck on the Starboard side of the ship, standing near a railing, and leaning over. His sunglasses obscure the facial expression of his, but he seems to be staring out of the window, at nothing in particular; but from his expression, it almost seems like he does see something against A Baoa Qu's silhouette. One might even be able to hear him whisper the word "Lalah" under his breath, if you listened very carefully.

Expect him to be somewhat startled when his trance-like stare is broken by someone trying to talk to him, or getting his attention by some other means. Whatever the case, it is obvious he has been waiting to go back into space for quite some time now. ]

I agree. Earth is not without it's own beauty as well, but if humanity doesn't stop destroying it, the "Planet of Water" will no longer exist.

That's why I believe humanity should leave the earth behind, and let nature rebuild itself. It will never happen while humans continue to destroy it.

Vacuum is less hospitable than even wastelands that mostly cover Earth itself, but it is true that we must not let the planet's condition degrade further. What kind of people are detestable enough to destroy their own place of origin!

However, you do not have to be afraid, sir Char! As soon as my House emerges victorious from its struggle, I promise to rebuild Earth into a perfect image of untainted beauty. The long waiting process will not be necessary!

Although there is no guarantee that people will not try to spoil it again... I guess it cannot be helped...

That is why it isn't good enough to promise to rebuild it. It is past the point of no return, after the colony drops and the constant nuclear war.

We need to let nature do what humanity simply can't do. War is inevitable. If humans have to fight one another, they should at least have the decency to do it in space, where the earth can't be harmed.

Please have trust in me! Capax Infiniti will allow Earth's condition to return even from a brink of destruction, such the one it is on now.

Although I suppose wars will continue one way or another. I have no wish to eliminate humanity's free will, and its nature will remain unchanged.

[Alessandra glances at the view again.]

If Earth is humanity's nest, then perhaps it really is our fate to depart from it, just like the birds that spread their wings and fly away eventually. Although they do not do that in vacuum, obviously.

It is so! Well, technically it is not mine yet. Capax Infiniti is a wonderful engine that can change the world as it is - but only the one who stands victorious above others in the Houses' struggle will be worthy enough to use it.

Which is why I must be the triumphant one. I do not trust the other Houses to use this power responsibly!

Oh, you do so just by being on board! There are three other Houses, and each one fields a Champion: I expect them to learn of my location and face me in battle sooner or later.

Then, they just have to be defeated in a pitched battle. Quite a straightforward solution if I say so myself!

Oh, it is not necessary a fight to the death. I expect others to yield, or lacking that - I will just rip off the proof of my victory from their Champion unit's defeated carcass.

Still, I am aware that casualties may occur regardless. Que sera, sera. The other three Champions realize it too.
