The Captives
[[Clearly locked to those who are the "Route Split" of being captured.
It's more like... classic jail cells, only updated for the future. Flat bunks for 4 people, with everything bolted down and otherwise, to keep it from being used as a weapon or escape. The holding block you're all in keeps most of you in sight of others across the hall. Clearly you can't see your neighbors, but you can hear and converse with them.
Adventus isn't inhumane, so, you're not all crowded. 4 people to a cell, so face-to-face actions are limited, but talking from cell to cell is clearly allowed.]]
(2)

A tall black man struts down the hall, accompanied by another man hunched over as though he were elderly, supported by a cane that is constantly changing colors (much like a glowstick). He also sports a rather spiffy gas mask which hides his eyes behind green LEDs. The duo is also accompanied by several armed guards to keep you kids in check.

Unleash this one and bring him to the room, LowKey.
[[IN SEPARATE THREADS, you may sign up to be brought along to a sound booth with "LowKey" and the other man. Or just yell at him from your cell. Make sure you denote that (2) in your subject line.
For Cheng, this is mandatory.]]

Re: 1
Haman turned when she heard Judah's voice, she looked a bit startled.
"You're awake." It was like the idea stunned her, but it was enough to remind her that her pupil was a newtype too and couldn't hardly be enjoying the headache she must be giving him. Immediately the pressure backed of, but the feelings would still linger, just more softly.
She came away from the bars, obviously making an effort to pull herself back together in front of him.
"I apologize about that, the pressure, I wasn't thinking." she shook her head, her pink locks looking limp and a flat on one side. "Especially with that bruise!" Haman reached a hand out tentatively to look at it better, but dared not to actually touch the angry looking bruise.
Re: 1
He did not flinch as she reached out, and instead held his hand closer to the wound. "Yeah, the bastards clocked me over the head with a rifle earlier. But hey, I'm use to taking big hits, kinda sorta."
Re: 1
Haman got up and pulled off her caped cowl. From the poor excuse of a water fountain Haman soaked a good part of the cowl fabric with cold water.
"Here. It might help a little bit. At least get some of the blood off." That was about all she could do, really.
"You're lucky you don't have a concussion. You must have really put up a fight." She back down now, across from him as before.
Re: 1
He flinched as the water touched his wound, but not much; it wasn't alcohol after all. Lightly, he damped his head, trying to remove any blood on him.
"Shoulda sortied at least. Got too distracted making something..." For his sis, and Roux as well. Hopefully Adventus didn't actually steal his gift for them.
Re: 1
"Well, I did fare much better out there. They took down Hixar's Gundam too. It was pretty fierce out there." Fear stewed in the pit of her stomach, remember how it felt when her Quebeley lost power, and was carried away by the enemy mobile suits. The complete lack of control...
Haman put her elbows on her knees, and leaned her face into her palms, sighing, rubbing the bridge of her nose.
"Char and the others will come for us soon. I have no doubts about this. We will just have to sit tight for a while." Was she reassuring him, or herself? It was hard to tell.
Re: 1
"Course they will!" He grinned, putting his hands behind his head. "Don't worry, sooner or later they'll bust down these guys' doors, and we'll be back in our own rooms. First thing I'm doing after that is pigging out! Food here sucks!" Though he didn't have any yet, he had a good feeling it sucked, if there was any.
Still, he was somewhat worried. It was faint, but he could tell something was off outside. Problem was he couldn't pinpoint what. Whether it was Newtype powers or just plain worry, it did bother him a bit.
Re: 1
His enthusiasm made her feel a little better too.
"What is it?" That look on his face, Haman knew that look.
He could feel her fear, and the danger that was lurking all around them. "You feel it don't you, in the back of your mind? It's strange when you first become aware of it, but it will be like second nature soon." A weak but knowing smile touched her lips.
Re: 1
"Something outside here...I can't really feel it, but something big is going on. Can't tell what from in here though. Do know it ain't Adventus though." He stared back at her. "Not death, but more like anger? Kinda like with what I felt with you."
Thoughts came to mind, but none really added up. That, and most were just parodies his mind was running, like if Roux found out he stole her lunch today, or if Sayla found out he did sneak in a few extra parts for a little experiment he had planned, and failed.
Re: 1
"Some of it is that you know you're in danger, you can sense it, the uncertainty of not knowing. But there is more than that isn't there?" Haman leaned in a little bit, as she did, she tried to soothe her own fears so they would not spill onto his mind so much. Her feelings would only cloud his vision.
"Try reaching out a little further. As far as you can. Follow the strange feeling in you mind."
Re: 1
"Nothing much yet..." At least until his brows flinched, finding more of that faint energy. It was someone, but he couldn't tell who.
Re: 1
"Don't try to rush. Remember the path, and retrace is as often as you have to, going a little farther each time. If you can remember the way, you can always come back to it later." It was hard to describe it any other way to someone who was learning for the first time.
"It's part of you, newtype powers, so don't try and force it." Haman knew from personal experience, she want him to go through the same.
Re: 1
"Got it..." He paused, finding that path. It was just one person, but it was one he was familiar with.
"Roux...She's worried...about me?" He sounded a bit surprised at that, but doesn't stop. He does however flinch again, gritting his teeth. "Kamille...sheesh he's pissed."
Re: 1
"See. That wasn't so hard." Haman spoke softly now, forgetting her fears completely, as she felt pride for him already. How quickly he had picked it up, it was certain to her now just how much potential he had.
Re: 1
"Wait, where's Char?" He opened his eyes, suddenly realizing that fact. He was with Haman and the others after all.
Re: 1
"So you don't feel him either?" Haman's soft smile turned grim again, her stomach felt like it dropped between her knees. she had tried to reach for him before but, just as Judah did, she could not find him. Haman had told herself it was only the stress of the the situation that clouded her vision, but now that seemed less likely.
If he had been captured in the battle after Haman had been taken, he should have been here.
"I'd like to think that if he was dead I would have felt that." Despite herself her mind raced along that path, painting a picture that showed the thousand terrible things that could have happened to him.
Re: 1
Judau leans back against the wall, sighing. Char wasn't dead. There was no way that could have been true. Haman certainly didn't believe it, so why should he?
"But if he ain't at the Chalice, and ain't here, where else would he go?"
Re: 1
There was only one possible answer.
"Axis."
Haman's face turned red with anger, and then flushed quickly, and left her looking a bit sour.
"If Char has gone back to Axis..."
To many possibilities, to many different reasons, to many outcomes. It would be impossible to try and guess, especially from a cell where that's all she could do, was guess.
"Then the cavalry is surely already on it's way, and we have nothing to worry about." Haman tried to cover how nervous this thought made her, how it only multiply the fear gnawing at her insides.
Re: 1
Still, something was off. If Char did do that, then why were the people on the Chalice so angry? Things weren't adding up, and that had Judau worried. Haman no doubt felt the same.
