Green Beer

1. [It was Shirley's day off and she was at Herb's makeshift bar. In her hands was a large green colored drink and she was sipping from it with a wide giddy smile on her face.]


2. [It was several hours later and Shirley was TANKED. She's giggling as she's stumbling through the hallways on a nice weaving path towards the room. Help her out?]

OI. Still, Shirley COULD stand to lose a few pounds. She was eating too much recently.

She fares better, in any case, but--

Drag, drag, drag... Move, move, move. So close. So close! Upon reaching the door, there's also the issue that doors tend to have keys, and Shirley is not sober enough to put a key inside of a lock.

So Lynette looks within her pockets for it.

Lynette hesitates when she spots it.

"Aaah..."

After a second of consideration, she ventures a hand within it to try and pull the thing out while Shirley is too drunk to care, and while MarKus is out of sight to either feel betrayed or approve of this.

She is going to hell.

It comes out easily, although Lynne probably would have copped a bit of a feel tugging it free. But Shirley hardly noticed, so buzzed she was.

Oh, a bit of a feel is an understatement. She heard naval women had it rough with breast pockets in their uniforms, but the uniform size given to Shirley is just cruel in Lynette's opinion.

"I'm so sorry for this, Shirley. Please don't tell Sakamoto."

She finally opens the door! She struggles again to move her towards her bed. At least it's one problem that will soon be solved.

Lynette shrinks while holding her own hands. MarKus is going to kill her. Or ask her over.

"Don't mention it..." Spoken both as a courtesy and an honest to God 'don't rat us out to our CO and to your lucky boyfriend'. She delicately covers Shirley with the sheets before she puts a glass of water on the table beside her. She's going to need it.

"Sleep well, Shirley."

"Thank you, Shirley... But I think MarKus would rather be the one with that..."

On her defense, Yoshika would probably keep doing it had she heard that.
