Post-Mission PARTY!
1. [There's a party in the Nirvana. There's food to tempt you, pretty women to socialize with, in short it is a festival. Socialize!]
2. [Dita's slipped away from the festivities for a little bit to the garden below the deck of the bridge, and she's looking at the night sky.]
So full of stars. They say there's a heart in each one of them. What star is Mejire and Taraak's? Is it still glowing brilliantly?
[It's such a sad, if happy feeling for Dita, she runs a hand across the railing.]
(ooc: mingle post in the first part, go get new CR with people! We're not throwing this party just cause we downed the Season Ending Boss oh no XD)

He's mostly ignoring (if not oblivious of) the various female onlookers on the Nirvana if only because of Haman, but surely everyone else will notice. ]
Re: 1
A party.
Haman's time had began here with a party, so it only seemed fitting to be attending another now.
Haman had forgone her usual black and leather number, and had slipped into something a little more stylish. (http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100507114108/gundam/images/4/42/Haman7.gif)
She saw Char across the room, but instead of rushing to him, she stood for a long moment, smiling softly, and admiring the way he looked in his Zeon unifrom.
He looked so right, so perfect.
If only she could get him to come home to Axis, to stay beside her always, and rule Zeon at her side (until which time her title of Regent would be laid down).

Motioning for Haman to come join him, he grabbed a drink from the table, and sat down at a nearby booth. ]
no subject
Haman followed his lead. It would be impossible to be in the same room and unaware of each other after all.
So when she slid into the seat across from him, it was with a wordless, and easy smile.
no subject
You sure dressed up, tonight.
no subject
"There was something to celebrate. I thought I would try and be... in the moment." She looked at him with a feisty look as if to say 'you don't like it?'. She had thought a chance of pace would have been refreshing.
Apparently not.
No matter. If he didn't like it, he could take her clothes off himself.
no subject
[ There. That should allay her concerns. Taking another sip of his drink, he then smirks. ]
You know, this ship has very large bathtubs in the spa. That's one thing the White Chalice doesn't have.
no subject
Haman nodded, and smiled, trying to hide the pink in her cheeks. She hated how easily he could play her emotions.
"I'm aware of them." Nodding she looked up at him, meeting his eyes. "But I've only put the dress on, do you want me out of it so soon?"
no subject
We have time. I'm only on my first drink.
[ He then relaxed a bit. ]
In all seriousness, I'm concerned. Kamille, Roux, and Judau are pushing themselves too hard, and I haven't seen the redheaded Federation pilot lately. People don't just simply disappear, and I'm concerned of what she'll report back to the Federation.
no subject
"People seem to disappear around here pretty often actually. I try not to let ti worry me." Haman waved her one gloved hand to dismiss the thought entirely. "We can only worry about those who are here."
To keep from break the fourth wall entirely, Haman went on.
"But the young pilots... I agree, but there isn't much we can do for them. I have been spending a lot of time with Judah lately. He's got a raw skill that is staggering, only he hasn't any idea what to do with it. Or even how to use it. I've taken him under my wing, so to speak." There was something strange in her eyes when she thought about that boy... "If he could be... groomed, I think he might best even me."
no subject
[ Char exhales through his nose. ]
Even Kamille wouldn't, and he looks up to me. Then again, I don't think I'd even bring myself to ask.
no subject
His complete disbelief was off putting.
"I don't have to make him mine yet. There is still a long road ahead of him that I can lead him upon. You win a man heart, then you win his loyalty. Being a female leader has very different rules, Char." Her eyes and words where as sharp as a knife. "Regardless of joining or recruiting, neither of which is going on currently, the boy intrigues me. And I want to help him discover the newtype that he is. That he is meant to be. For now we fight together but..."
I could die at his hands, if it meant he could best me...
Haman looked away from him when she said this, unable to bare the feeling of his eyes upon her.
"Kamille... he's a good kid too." She didn't want to talk about Kamille. That boy kept a dark secret of hers, that Char must never know.
no subject
Haman?
[ He asked, reaching out for her hand. ]
What is it?
no subject
Haman shook her head hard, snapping herself out of her trance.
"It's nothing." She smiled softly, in a reassuring way. The thoughts in her mind where still to incomplete to share, she couldn't put this feeling into words yet.Certainly not words he would understand.
It wasn't about possessing the boy, it was about...
something strange, and deadly, and beautiful.
"Aren't we at a party? And we still can't talk about anything about 'work'." She took his hand, and squeezed it reassuringly. Her eyes, the color of space, dark and endless, could not hide the conflict within her.
no subject
I know when you're lying to me, Haman. Please, don't hide anything from me.
[ The fact that he could read her like a book didn't escape her, he knew this for a fact. It was part of why they loved one another, they knew each other so well. ]
I need to be able to trust you.
no subject
Curse you. She thought.
"I wish you wouldn't be so careless with your words." He was always so blunt, she wasn't used to being called out on her lies. but her hand only gripped his.
"Not now, I'm not ready yet. Just wait, and when I understand it, I'll tell you everything. Trust in that."
no subject
... Okay, Haman.
[ It was subdued, almost defeated. But he squeezed her hand in return, and tried to relax. ]
no subject
"Come on, don't be like that." She smirked a little. "It's nothing to get bent out of shape about it. I promise." Haman leaned across the table and kissed Char's cheek. "Now, I understand we nearly died today. Can we celebrate that for a moment?" The hand clad in fishnet ran down his jawline, adoringly.
no subject
Of course.
[ He didn't like that Haman was keeping secrets from him. Not one bit. But, if she insisted it was nothing to worry about, he's keep quiet about it. He'd have no choice but to trust her, after all. ]
no subject
Haman smiled softly to herself. Inside his arms it was easy to push the chaos away for a moment, and feel safe.
Her fingers traced the beautiful satin stitching of his uniform.
"I love it when you wear this."
no subject
[ She was the one who had it made for him, after all. Leaning his face into her hair, he could barely see over the top of her head. He wasn't sure what to make of this conversation, but at least the topic was changing. ]
I like it. More comfortable than what I wore during the One Year War, anyway.
no subject
"The helmet!" Haman couldn't stifle her snicker. Who thought that thing was a good idea anyways.
She didn't apologize, but stopped laughing quickly. Haman didn't really have the right to laugh at him about it. During the bloodiest time in the history of Zeon, and she had been 12, just a child. And he had carried it on his shoulders.
It was quite of a humbling thought. One she ought to remember more often.
"What was the story with that anyways? The helmet, I mean. I was always quite certain there must be one."
no subject
The mask didn't look right without it. It went over the top of my head, after all.
[ And sunglasses weren't practical, at least not then. He couldn't afford the Zabi family finding out he was Casval Rem Deikun. Kycilia found out, eventually, but she was naive and thought he was still loyal regardless, and couldn't afford to alienate a pilot of Char's caliber - especially a Newtype - right before A Baoa Qu. He wouldn't have been so lucky if Gihren, Dozle, or Segwin found out. ]
no subject
"But," Ur-curling herself from a him a little Haman looked at him with questioning eyes. "Why the mask at all? I mean, where you just protecting that handsome face of yours or....?" where you hiding it?
no subject
Just adding an air of mystery to the famous 'Red Comet.' Federation pilots already fled the battlefield just at reports of a red mobile suit.
[ Well, it's true... just not for the reason he implies. ]
