[After that time, Hana's more than psyched up. She's made her decision - one way or another, she's going out to fight those beasts. Her failure with Haruka and Imber is still fresh in her mind, but that's what's driving her this time - she isn't failing Dita. Which is why she's pushing for her most ambitious idea yet: Fitting the Desu Tsubomi with every last major untouched weapon she can find!

At this point, the PreDesu machine looks less like a magical girl mecha and more like it would almost fit in with a Gundam series - that, or Rinon got a hold of it. Zaku Machine Guns, Zaku Bazooka, Cracker Grenades, and (with a lot of asking from Roads), the Chakram launcher and a solid blade. She seems really serious about this!]

Hana, are you sure about this-desu?

Of course I am, CHYPrE! Dita's one of my close friends, and I'm not going to abandon her in her time of need!

But, there's no way the Desu Tsubomi can really handle all of this! You're going to be slowed down-desu!

[And the Desu Tsubomi drops back down, this time on all fours, as Hana tumbles out, reverted back to her normal sundress form.]

[Chrono raises an eyebrow upon encountering the Tsubomi.] Hana, I'm sure there's a good reason you've loaded Tsubomi with enough weapons to break into the average Bureau Ground Forces facility. But she can't fly like this. [He's trying to keep his tone soft to make it sting less, but...]

B-But, I have to try something, Chrono! I want to out there and help Dita fight those things and I know what the Tsubomi has isn't enough!

I'm not sure you realize just how much weight those add to Tsubomi... There's a reason only very big mecha with lots of armor load that much weaponry; it's that they're so heavy already that their frames are reinforced to be able to take the strain.

Hana, I know how you feel - really, I do. But if you go out there with all those guns loaded, Tsubomi will be too slow to be effective, and too slow to protect you if something happens. Dita would be very sad if one of us got killed trying to protect her. [Not that she's much better now, with the threat of leaving hanging over her, but...]

I don't either. I know it's cliché, but I don't want to let anyone down, no matter what. But while going in unprepared is bad, going in prepared wrong is often worse.

I want to help Dita as much as you do. But we don't win fights by going in with all the guns we can carry. We win with strategy, and teamwork, and occasionally a special ability that works handily on whatever we're fighting. It worked before, it'll work now. Believe in our power.

Cheer up, Hana. Anyone can tell you meant well. We just need a new approach. Even after all that, going on without all the reasonable advantages we can manage is bad for the team.

First and, to me, most obvious idea. Where's that new machine you had before? Cure Noir, I think? That'd be marked increase in power.

Desu Noir, and that's Eri's unit. Mine, the Desu Blanc, is still being repaired from that incident with that... [she wants to throw out a few names concerning that woman.]

But... I don't want to ask Eri for her power. I want to use my own...

Desu Blanc's out for repair... huh. Well, there is one other thing to consider. Remember, it's Dita - if we need more power she can combine with almost anything except actual humans. And she's taken form with Desu Tsubomi before. Maybe just having a familiar, admittedly very powerful, panic button will help a lot. Let alone the several panic buttons she tends to have.

Possibly more importantly, though... I find that, as lame as it sounds, you really need to believe in your team, your Device - for you, Desu Tsubomi - and your own skills. Will, drive, and belief form a huge part of battle. If you don't think you can break through something, your strikes are weaker, and you won't get through; then you get depressed, and you're even weaker after that.

Well then, if you're worried about being slowed down by the weight, don't: you can have the Tsubomi ride on the back of my Gundam, that way, you'll be able to keep mobile and provide support fire.

It's right, you know. If you overpower the frame, it'll slow you down. Have you reinforced the rest of the frame to cover the additional weight?

There's not a whole lot we can do about the speed, given the extra weight, but you won't lose as much if you reinforce everything. Plus, you won't have to worry about something collapsing on you.
