Second Discovery

[White Chalice's kitchen. A pot of water is boiling on one of the counters. The tiny robot that some might know under the name of Prometheus is jumping up and down, trying to reach it - but that's not an easy feat when you're just one foot tall. Also, a band-aid has appeared on its head recently for some reason. Approach? Observe? Help out?]

[The robot's small statute and focus on the pot doesn't let him see that a figure's coming from behind, and after a moment takes the pot in one hand.]

There we go... you needed this?

[The robot nods energetically and jumps up and down again, reaching with both of its hands for the pot. Futilely, for now.]

[Carefully, Ryo kneels down and places the pot safely on the ground next to the robot. And not a moment too soon; his arms feel like they're going to fall off!]

[Prometheus downs the whole pot of boiling water in one prolonged sip, then sets it aside and lets out a satisfied cloud of steam. How can he do all of this without having a mouth is a mystery of the ages. He gives Ryo a thumb up.]

A robot that needs water to continue to operate...

[Ryo looks on in amusement and interest, wondering just what else the steam's used for.]

[The machine grabs the empty pot and gives it to Ryo, staring at him like a kid demanding candy.]

I take it you want more, hmm?

Well, you'll have to be a little patient. It takes time to boil. Still...

[Ryo picks up the pot again, much easier now that there's not so much water weighing it down, and fills it up with water before putting it on the stove again.]

This body of mine can't do much, but this isn't too bad.

[The robot rubs its chin-equivalent thoughtfully, and after a short moment raises its finger to the sky triumphantly! It beckons for Ryo to follow it.]

[Glancing back at the stove, Ryo turns down the heat so it won't boil over too quickly before following after Prometheus.]

Okay then. Just make it quick, okay?

[The robot leads him to... the gym? It points at its door, looks at him questioningly, then does some pretend weight lifting and flexes its muscles. Although it doesn't seem like it has any.]

[It doesn't take long for Ryo to figure out what the robot wants him to do, but he just sighs and shakes his head.]

No can do... I'm not the kind of person who can bulk up. Not that I wouldn't mind but, well when you have anemia, it kinda limits your options.

[Prometheus ponders for a while, then runs off. He returns a moment later, carrying a computer keyboard. He lifts it several times above his head, then looks at Ryo expectingly.]

Sir Prometheus, if you desire the pot but are not tall enough to reach it, then how did it made its way so high in the first place?

[Prometheus points at the pot and himself, and shakes his head. Simultaneously. Then he jumps, trying to reach it again.]

I will save you from your unfortunate height-related situation!

[Grabs the pot and hands it over to the tiny robot. Alessandra does not turn the gas off because daily work is hard and she didn't master all any of the appliances yet.]

Hmm? Where did my coffee water go?

[Frank stares at the robot.]

And why would anyone pour it there?

Because the robot requested it himself. It would break my heart to reject such a heartful plea!

[walked in on the statement. Blinking like an owl caught in daylight...then absorbing the situation with a most confused look]

[A friendly wave. For such a strange situation, Alessandra acts pretty casual. More so than for actual casual situations, actually.]

[Waves lightly. He has absolutely no idea what was going on. Best to back away. Slowly]

[Frank looks at everyone involved in this bizarre situation... And apparently just shrugs it off.]

Alright. It's no big deal.

[He starts to boil more water. Not going anywhere this time.]

[The robot immediately starts trying (a very appropriate word here) to climb the counter, to reach the new pot of water as well.]

Ahaha! How delightful!

[The look in Alessandra's eyes says it all - this portion of water will find its end in Prometheus's stomach as well.]

[That does not escape Frank's attention.]

I'd like to actually have my coffee, you know.

I... will make sure this pot stays safe, then.

[Alessandra will keep an eye out on other boiling water, as if it was a naturally occuring phenomena on board.]

[When the water is boiled, Frank pours some into his thermos. There's still quite a bit left, though.]

[Feeds Prometheus immediately. Observes the reaction.]

[After downing whatever water is left, Prometheus removes the bandage from his head, revealing a cut in the metal - a cut that starts to slowly fill in. The tiny robot does a bizarre pose that's somewhere in the middle of doing an RPG-esque victory dance and flexing your muscles.]

[Gives more water. Hot or not.]

[Prometheus has a dilemma. He's pretty much full already, but at the same time he's a terrible glutton! He starts to drink again, though slowly and with hesitation.]

Eheehee... who is the most adorable tiny robot? It is you!

[Makes sure Prometheus' cup does not go empty.]

[Prometheus stares at the cup. He knows there is only one way to escape this situation. Run away literally!]

S... sir robot?! Is something wrong?

[Too confused to chase after. You're lucky this time!]
