He's been around the ship a little at least, keeping an eye on the young king, but tonight... He had found a quiet corner in a observation room, looking out at space, a bottle of wine next to him glass in hand.
Allen's thoughts aren't with the here and now, he's dwelling on the past, on his mother and his sister. His thoughts also dwell to Chid, his son, even if he didn't know. Allen took another sip of the wine, the bottle had been full when he had found the place to be alone... now, it's probably half full. Though he's been there a few hours.
Anyone want to pester him?

Adette filled each of the tiny cups with the harsh, clear drink.
"I'm Adette, I don't think we've met before, but you look like you could be my brother or something. It's kind of uncanny, don't you think?" she grinned wide and playfully.

He frowned a little at the sister bit though, since his thoughts had been of his missing sister. "Mine would be around the ages of some of the children here. My sister that is."

"So you do have a sister! I knew it! My women's intuition is always right." Adette picked up the glass and pointed at Aleen as she spoke.
"I have two older brothers, but they are both much older than you!" Adette didn't know he was brooding, but she had done plenty of her own over the family she had lost, or left behind to be here.
"But I'm probably older than you even, so don't get any funny ideas." Adette held up her glass.
"What shall we drink to then, Allen Schezar, Knight of Asturia?"

"And they let you be a soldier? Forgive my rudeness, but where I'm from it's not customary for women to go into battle. At least not willingly." He'd adjust to the idea, though he'd still feel protective over any he fought along side.
"And I would ask, but I know it's rude to ask a lady of such matters. Unless I want to start a fight." He chuckled. "And the crew of the ship the young king of Fanelia is traveling with are not the kind I would willingly fight with, along side yes, but I don't think it would be wise to make enemies."
"Health and new relations?"

"Health and new raltions it is!!" Adette held up her glass to cheers his, the metal cups singing when they clim together. She taps the glass onceon teh table before sliding the drink down her throat, she smiled at it burned into her stomach.
"Well where I'm from, Allen, women do only exactly what they want to do. I would be more willing to fight you over that, than my age." She laughed softly.
"My brothers are the ones that kind of pushed me into the miltarty in the first place. They where right to do it though, I've always been a bit of a natural in the cockpit. But then, I'm the sucess story in my family. One of my brothers is a teacher in the Domepoli, and the other crawled into a bottle years ago and never came out. But with as good as this stuff is, can you really blame him after the hell life put us through."

"I have learned there are many women warriors on this ship." He smiled at her. "I may not be that comfortable with it, but I have seen some of the children in action, they are more than capable of handling their own." Yes he was talking about Yoshika and Lynnette with respect. He listened to her story and leaned back a little. "My sister disappeared, when I was young. It was after Father had. Mother slowly lost her will to live and after that... Well I fought my way from being a nobody to a knight with my sword. And the love of a princess, but the sword skill impressed her father to give me rank." He had lost her too, and his own son didn't know him, which was probably harder on him than anything else he had been through.

"Man, where are you from?! I thought it was crazy in Siberia, but you are a real downer!" she pointed at him, jabbing him in the forearm with an outstretched finger. "Sounds like a fairy tales to me, princesses, and knights. The world outside the Domepoli never ceases to amaze me." Adette moved to refill her small glass, and then his as well.
"We can't change the paths we've walked, all we can do it keep going forward."

He did chuckle a little. "This is true, the past was what forged us into what we are now, all we can do is continue the path see where it takes us." He nodded about the drink. "Thank you."

"We didn't know anything about Samuari in the Domepoli. Knights and princess... where only things in the books other girls read. Nonsense to me really. But, everyday i spend out in the world, I learn that there is so much more than I could have ever imagined. And it's weird, since it was there all alone... just past the tundra." she mused for a moment, smirking softly while she sipped from the cup a little.
"My grandma-ma told me once that vodka was made to warm you heart. And in Siberia, the idea of freezing to death was very real, ya know. So drink up, I promise you'll be in good spirits soon!" Adette tried to convey her empathy, as well as her optimistic attitude. "We do what we will, otherwise we wouldn't be ourselves."
