Post Dated to After the Mission "Light, Stars, Spirit and Snow"
Who: Ayame Jin, Josh Radcliffe, Werter Wolf, the two captured Cultists
What: Interrogation and medical stuff
When: Immediately following the mission "Light, Stars, Spirit and Snow"
Warnings: Suicide.
Ayame had done what she could for the unconscious man. The boy had remained silent as he was taken to the medical bay with his unconscious ally where he was locked up under guard. It had required some... technological additions to keep the man alive, but he was alive and waking up, which meant the interrogation could commence.
Rather than moving the injured man, Ayame had the guards bring the boy into the room. She was certain she could keep control of things, especially with Josh's aid. Still, discretion was the better part of valor and Ayame was far from valorous so she had the boy strapped to a bed before she sent the guards away. She didn't particularly like this sort of thing, but someone had to do it.
She had one more thing to do before she started, "Werter, we are about to interrogate the prisoners. If you would like to be present, report to the medical bay, room M07 please."

[With Werter inside the room, Josh then shuts the door and quickly keys in an access code into the nearby terminal.]
Alright, that should take care of things on the security end of things.

I don wanna wake...
[He then seems to realize what's going on.]
Wha? Oh man.

[Josh's eyes narrow as he looks at the man.]
You're onboard the White Chalice currently as prisoner, along with the other member of your cult we picked up.
How you'll be treated'll depend on how well you cooperate.

Cooperate? Okay, what do you wanna know?
[Strangely... he doesn't seem to have a problem talking.]

Really, why do you want to know my name?
Wouldn't mean anything, not like I have records or anything.

Besides, you're only as doomed as you make yourself. I'm sure if everything goes along the way we'd like there'd be no harm in tying you to some rock in a desert with some hemp rope and leaving you there with a distress beacon.

And no one would come for that beacon, at least no one I would want to find me.
See? A beacon is tech, and we don't do tech. It's kind of our MO.

Which essentially makes you supervillain versions of those disgruntled laborers in the 1800s who responded to the Industrial Revolution with rioting, vandalism, and murder.
Still have to wonder if you have a cutoff, though. Those clothes you and the others were wearing... how archaic did you get in making them?
no subject
And why are you so staunchly anti-technology? You do know it can be used to preserve nature too, right?
no subject
Everything we use is found or made by hand using nothing more complicated than a knife!
[He is definitely proud of this.]
Oh right, the claims that technology can be used to preserve nature. You mean like the arboretum on this ship?
no subject
And you'd be right about the arboretum too. [That was probably nothing more than a lucky guess, but just to air on the safe side Josh glanced over at Ayame before going for some medical papers and x-rays.]

Then doing it all even more just to counteract what we shouldn't have been doing in the first place! That is what Baphomet considers idiocy, and frankly, I'd think it was idiotic whether I was told by a primal force or not!
no subject
Do you want people to live in forests, or something? How many do you think would suffer horrible conditions or die?
no subject
[At that Josh holds up a number of x-rays of someone's chest, displaying an object inside of it.]
We took these while you were out cold. I'm not sure if you can understand just by looking at these so I'll keep things simple:
You have a heart defect. By all rights you should have been dead years ago... except someone put a pacemaker inside of you. Maybe it was related to how much of a calamity Second Impact was, maybe not.
Werter's talk of technological advancement, of saving lives, is plenty evident. You're proof of it.

You mean... all this time? I've... been dead!?
