[Loraine's mood had been ... dim lately. Perhaps nothing illustrated this better than the dust that was gathering on the keys of her piano's keys. Their white luster was dulled with a thin coat of grey ... and at the moment they matched Loraine.]
[As of late she'd either been in her office, the gardens, or her shared quarters, and not anywhere else. Regrowing her spent supply of tobacco and cannabis was going to take some time... in the mean time, she was glad she had some nicotine patches to keep her from going nuts.]
[At the moment she sat in her medical office, portable DVD player running some made for TV horror/thriller movie]
[A man on the screen slammed a door behind him and his girlfriend and started to catch his breath.]
"It's okay, there's no way he could have gotten here before us--HWUUG!!"
[From the hall closet came the killer with his knife. Poor guy never stood a chance]
... this movie sucks...
