1] Adette put the last of her things into her bag. It was a bit sad, to see her whole life in one small duffel. She sighed as she slung it over her shoulder, looking around her quarters for what very well be that last time.
"It's been swell." She said to the furniture. "But the swelling has gone down now."
With that, she turned and left the room, closing the door behind her.
She headed for the hanger, walking slowly, hoping to catch at least Gainer before she departed.
If you have anything to say to Adette, you had better do it now, because between the look in her eyes and the duffel bag, it's pretty clear she leaving the Chalice.

Dearest Micheal,
Before I leave here, for what could be the very last time, I found my heart still had somethings to say. And I know that saying these things now is selfish, and self-serving, but I cannot leave this ship with out unburdening myself of these pent up words.
Micheal, please understand, that I am not leaving you so that I can be with Resnick. He and I, are nothing other than comrades. Our escapades where not done to cause you pain. I told you, I warned you, that I would ruin this, somehow. And I did. I got scared, I was so frightened of having my wings clips, than when Resnick shows me an opened window, I could not help but fly out of it. I'm leaving the ship, leaving you, because the people of Siberia are being help in by a tyrannical government, and fate seems to have picked me to set them free from the very bonds I once pledged my life to uphold. I'll have to face the people whom I once called my dearest friends, my lovers, and my comrades. This will not be easy, and there is always the possibility that I may never return at all. This is why I cannot carry you with me where I am going, I can't let my desire to be with you cause me to falter on the battlefield.
Micheal, I love you like I have loved no man before. When I look into your eyes I see the years rolls out before me, walking beside you till the end of my days. But I am a wild thing, a bird that cannon sing when it's wings are tied. I'm thankful for ever moment we shared, and will always think of you with the greatest love and admiration, but I think it would be best for both of us, if you just forgot all about me. You deserve a better woman than I, someone who can be everything you need with out fail.
