[ So, you guys that just went on a mission? Expect there to be a banquet table full of food and drinks prepared just for you. For others, it's pretty much a free for all with different kinds of food prepared and laid out. Hoshi has her hair tied up in a ponytail and an apron on to protect her clothes.

If anyone approaches her, she'll grin and give them a wave. ]

Eat up, you've deserved it. You don't need to thank me, either.

[ Hoshi knows that she has to work out, and so for those around the gym, she can be found either in a pair of shorts and a white t-shirt, running laps and doing other such things to boost her endurance.

However, after a while, she decides to transform into Vita and is practicing her swordplay, as well as the different modes her cape has. ]

Right, let's do this.

WING MODE.

[ The cape shifts and transforms into a set of wings, levitating Vita off of the ground and into the air. Soon, she flies around and makes sure to not hit any corners wwhile doing so. ]

[Laura's in the gym going through her own routine, but her eyes keep drifting towards Hoshi. At an opportune lull in both of their activities, she approaches.]

Hi there... you came aboard back in Seattle, didn't you? I've seen you around the kitchen... I'm Laura, Laura Ericks.

[ Hoshi takes a moment to stop and catch her breath, giving a wave to Laura as she approaches. ]

Yeah, I did! It's a pleasure to meet you, Laura. I'm Hoshi, Hoshi Hikari.

[ The hug takes Hoshi off guard as she manages to laugh and return the hug to Mobius. ]

You don't need to thank me! Seeing people happy makes me happy. Just eat up until you're full, all right?

[ Hoshi grabs a stool and goes to sit down, a smile on her face. ]

[Chrono grins when he discovers the food set out, and its source.] We have to stop meeting like this, Hoshi. You'll think all I do on this ship is eat.

That said... fighting's hard work, and I trust your cooking. So I think I'll grab dinner before the whole Chalice shows up. [He scares up a plate and begins to grab food.] Any particular reason you felt like making all this?

[ Hoshi takes a small serving of the food she's cooked and decides to chow down after saying her thanks. ]

[ Hoshi stops what she's doing and waves to Chrono, grinning. ]

There's nothing wrong with that. As long as there's mouths to feed, I'll happily cook anything people want.

[ She nods and smiles a bit. ] It's a little silly, but whenever I came home after baseball and all that, my mama always knew that I would be starving, and so, she made sure to make me at least something so that I wouldn't be tempted to eat everything in sight.

She... moves at her own pace. Her conference room aboard the Asura is decorated with bonsai trees, she takes milk and sugar in her green tea, and she's the nicest ranking officer in the Bureau's navy that you'll ever meet, for better or worse. But... I can't complain. After all, I'm halfway across known space on a military peacekeeping intervention, and my mother's just up in orbit, a quick teleport away. It's reassuring.

[Chrono gives her an amused glance, but seems to pause for a moment, then turns back to her with a pondering look.] Did you leave family behind in Old Seattle, or...?
