Kincaid doesn't say anything to make his presence known, but he is paying attention to this. It's not that he doesn't trust Alexei and PRIME, but they work for a conglomerate of corporations with sometimes conflicting interests, any one of which might be against the Chalice, OR the Vanguard. It seems prudent to keep tabs on them.
