Today is a good day. We have won a great victory for the forces of Man, and for the first time...it seems like we could win. Like I can do more than simply delay the end of this world and the return of the Other.

But...Etheldedra and Al Azif are family...and the only ancients from my world who crossed over to this one. With their...absence, I am the last of my kind, the last one alive who remembers when the aurochs roamed the earth.
