[Sora can be found in the hangar in her usual workout garb, apparently waiting for someone; she's stretching while she waits, and taking a closer look at Desu Miki. Bother? Or if you're Ciel, begin the torture?]

[2]
[Some time after her workout, Sora's in the arboretum, breathing mostly settled, tending to the flowers. She's also got a larger sketchbook, this one of unit and weapon details and (very) limited design work. It's clear at a glance that she's not very good at actual design, but she knows what she wants, at least. No, it doesn't contain information about people. She's not paying a whole lot of attention... you might be able to surprise her if you wanted?]

[3]
[That evening, the redhead's in the room she's been sharing with Hana and Eri; the door's open and the whole room's glowing sunshine-yellow, all of it coming from Sora, who's focused on a large cut on her arm. What's she doing...?]

[A potentially familiar but probably forgotten face for most of the Chalice can be found in the hangar, working on a unitthat has been frequently absent it's arrival on the Chalice; Ciel crawls out of the removed shoulder plate of Miki and brushes her hand across her brow with a sigh, and her red eyes peer across the hangar. She seems a little out of it, but otherwise there's nothing odd about her save that she's actually made an appearance after nearly a month of mysteriously ghosting away from the ship. Currently, her gaze is focused on a small piece of... something in her hand, and she softly drums her fingers along Miki's shoulder. She's mumbling about 'something', though it's a little difficult to make out.]

This is getting to be aggrivating. I keep trying to route power away from the Hold Hands system, but it seems like everything else is connected to it... Miki isn't performing at the capacity she could be if the system didn't absorb such a large amount, but I can't find a way to make the power circulate around the system without wasting more energy than the system eats... and the damned professor integrated the system in such a way that removing it would render Miki almost useless. Maybe I could build a replacement or a catalyst to replace it, but... I don't have the time it would take to break Miki down enough to remove the system and study it.

... Maybe I can request a spare suit from Fairy Park...

1. (the hangar)

[After the chaos of the fight, the hangar crew are working overtime on cleanup duty. Laura's pitching in, flying around in The Great Pretender, righting fallen mechs and clearing heavy objects.

For now, though, she's in the open cockpit of the Knightpolice she's been working on in her own time for the last while, and which came through the confusion blessedly unscathed. There's one last finishing touch to cap off her modifications to it, and this is just the time to make it. There are some odd whistling noises, a fan whirring, and what looks like - no, it's not smoke, it's steam rising...

Laura sinks back into the pilot's seat, out of armour and so with her leg propped up in a cast, and takes a deep, satisfied drink from the mug with the 501st's insignia emblazoned on it.]

Ahhh... got the kettle working at least.

2. (the Arboretum)

[Even using the Pretender for all her activity, Laura's under doctor's orders not to push herself too hard, so she's sitting untransformed under a tree trying not to scratch at her leg in its cast. She's not exactly relaxed, though - tapping away at a tablet, it looks like whatever she's reading or writing is giving her some grief.]

They probably won't even recognize me. Maybe they'll just think it's a sick prank.
